Q: What kinds of ceremonies do you perform?
A:  All kinds! Civil, Religious, Interfaith, Multi-Cultural, Commitment Ceremonies, Renewal of
Vows and Baby Blessings.  Since each ceremony is custom written just for you, it will reflect
your love and commitment in a personal and memorable way.

Q: What is included in the ceremony?
A: There are as many aspects to a wedding ceremony as there are people. You can include
Parents, Grandparents, Children, Readings, Prayers, Poetry, Sand Ceremony, Shell
Ceremony, Unity Candle, Rose Ceremony, Blessing of the Hands...and any other element
that you would like. I will work with you to select the best possible ceremony elements, and I
will gently guide you through the process.

Q:  Why should we ask you to officiate at our wedding?
A:  I have many years of experience creating and conducting wedding ceremonies.  I know
that this is YOUR DAY and it is all about YOU!  I bring warmth, professionalism and humor to
everything I do, and you will enjoy working with me.  Your guests will compliment you on your
ceremony and how I conducted it, and they will be engaged in the ceremony from beginning
to end.  I am calm and can handle any situation that arises with grace and ease.  I will help
make your dream wedding a reality.  And, you will enjoy your wedding day!

Q: Do you provide a copy of the wedding ceremony for us?
A:  Certainly! I email the ceremony to you once it is just the way you want it.

Q:  We have always thought of being married by a man.  Is this wrong?
A:  Of course not.  Everyone has personal preferences.  I would still recommend that we
meet so that you can assess my level of expertise, caring and ability to provide a heartfelt
wedding ceremony that is exactly what you want.  I am also happy to provide a male
celebrant if that is your desire.

Q:  We're already married.  Would you perform a wedding ceremony for our
family and friends anyway?
A:  Yes.  I often do this kind of "wedding."  It will be a lovely ceremony, and if you don't want
anyone to know you just couldn't wait, that's okay.

Q:  Do you perform beach weddings?  What else should we consider?
A:  Over half of my weddings are conducted at the beach.  Most often they are on a
Sarasota Beach, Nokomis, Osprey, Manasota, Bradenton or St. Petersburg Beach.  Some of
the most beautiful beaches are on Siesta Key, Lido Beach, Anna Maria Island and Longboat
Key.  Other popular locations include one of the many fine country clubs or public parks in
the greater Sarasot/Bradenton area.

How to Choose a Wedding Officiant
Choosing a Wedding Officiant is a very personal decision.  It is also a very important one.  Here are some questions that will help you make your selection and to discover if you are a good "fit":
  1)  Are you available for our date, time and location?
  2)  What kinds of ceremonies do you perform?
  3)  Can you guide us if we don’t know what kind of ceremony we want?
  4)  How flexible are you in creating the ceremony?  Will it be just a "cookie cutter" ceremony or one that reflects our love, commitment and respect for one another?
  5)  Can we meet in person or have a three-way telephone conversation to become acquainted?
  6)  Will you perform our ceremony if we are an inter-faith couple?  Been divorced?  Have children?  Live out of state?  (Or any other issue you may think is important.)
  7)  How flexible and responsive are you to our special needs and desires?  Can we have special readings, personal vows or other elements in our ceremony?  Can we include family members and/or children in our ceremony?
  8)  Can you offer testimonials or referrals?
