Average turnaround from concept to completion is approximately 6-8 weeks, with longer times required for large quantities and couture ensembles

We host personal consultations in our Hamden studio, and are available to travel for consultations in the Tri-State area.

For most designs, our minimum quantity is 10, however couture orders may require a minimum of 100 depending on the materials selected. We are happy to provide a custom quote upon request.

What is your average price point?
We can accommodate events of all sizes and budgets.  Pricing is individual to the client, based on the shape, size, and configuration of the invitation, and the materials selected.  Basic designs usually start around $5 each, inclusive of insert card(s) and both the response and (outer) mailing envelope.  Our most expensive designs cost several hundred dollars each.

Do you have a minimum order?
Our minimum is 10 pieces.  We do not require that you have a minimum spending amount, or that you order in set quantities.

What special features do you offer?
We are an authorized dealer/designer for the popular Envelopments line of premium paper products (www.envelopments.com), which include pocketfold, gatefold, and Envelofold style enclosures.  We use only the finest imported Swiss satin ribbon, and authentic Swarovski crystal and brooches in our designs.  We also carry imported Thai silk boxes, pouches and folios in over 100 rich and beautiful colors, and commonly use handmade papers, fabrics and other rich textiles from around the world.

 

1.  Start early!  Unlike customized or personalized invitations, which simply allow you to change wording or coloring, custom invitations are a highly specialized product, which require a lot of detail and planning to achieve the look you truly desire.  You should look to select a designer no less than 6 months in advance of your event, and no less than 3-4 months in advance to begin working on a design.

2.  Bring your ideas!  We are inspired by everything from your wedding attire to your venue's decor.  During your consultation, we welcome all the information you can possibly provide, including fabric swatches, photo images, and the name(s) of the flowers you have selected for your affair.  During the design process, we work one-on-one with you to achieve the look you truly desire, and will provide you with up to 3 concepts or revisions to your initial rendering.

3.  Shop for quality, not price!  Be very clear about where you stand with your wedding stationery.  There are a plethora of companies available to service your event with a wide variety of pre-printed, personalized, and semi-custom products.  However, if quality is important, be sure to ask potential designers for samples of their work if a personal consultation and viewing is not an option.  You should not pay a premium for subpar quality materials and workmanship!
