Facilities & Capacity
Ceremonies take place in a charming wedding pavilion surrounded by beautiful gardens and white farm benches. Emanating storybook magic and offering total privacy, the inn strives to provide precious nuptial moments in a peaceful location. An indoor option is also available. Guests proceed to the reception into our elegantly furnished 1880 Wedding Barn that includes everything needed for a memorable evening. From chandeliers and coordinated linens to professional sound systems and space for dancing, newlyweds can dine in style. Personal decorations are welcome, so couples can create their desired ambiance with embellishments like garlands, blooms, and candles. An in-house kitchen provides gourmet dishes to satisfy guests from cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres to the wedding cake. Packages by the inn can cater weddings of various capacities, from 10 to 125 guests.

Just a dream
Hade my wedding there this June and it really was more than I could've wishes for staff were attentive caring put my dreams and wishes and turned it into a beautiful day. Can't wait to go back for out anniversary!

Perfect and beautiful
We had our wedding ceremony held at Phineas Swann this past March. There were 8 of us and 4 dogs. Our requirements for the wedding included: a cozy place for us and our guests to stay the weekend, a reception dinner, and having our dogs part of the fun. We booked Phineas Swann for our wedding weekend, sight unseen going solely based on reviews. Darren and Lynn’s bed and breakfast fulfilled all of our wishes and more. They have established a professional, beautiful, and flawless business with all the needs any guests would want or didn’t think of. The staff (Gina and Matt) were personable and you could tell they enjoyed their jobs. Darren and Lynne made our stay feel like we were in the comfort of our own home. The owners have put their heart and sole into Phineas Swann and it shows. The rooms, including the common areas, exceeded our expectations. The rooms have the coziest beds and the cutest decor. Their food (breakfast and ceremony) was exceptional!! It’s nearly a month later and we are still talking about the delicious food. The staff even accommodated a special diet restriction for one of our guests. As for the wedding, we were just at the start of the coronavirus pandemic so you can imagine how anxious we were days leading up. Darren and Lynne assured us we would be safe and the inn would be clean/sanitized. There was no doubt about it! The wedding ran so smoothly. Darren and Lynne have developed relationships with outside vendors such as hair, florists, bakers, etc. Our wedding package, “Just the 10 of us”, included a cake which I must say was the best cake we have ever had at a wedding. Couples worry that the cake is wasteful but this was the absolute opposite. The flowers were also gorgeous and we even dried them so we could have a wedding day souvenir. We plan to return again as a family in the near future and look forward to a relaxed, fun filled weekend.

Absolutely Perfect
I cannot begin to describe how wonderful it is to work with Lynne and Darren of the Phineas Swann! After our initial meeting, my husband and I were completely sold. They took care of so many aspects of our wedding that I can honestly say I was not stressed about planning our wedding at all. Lynne and Darren crafted our perfect day by taking care of much of the decor, appetizers, the meal, the cake, the flowers, accommodations, linens, tables, chairs! The list goes on. Not only was our wedding weekend affordable, but it was so beautifully orchestrated as a result of the innkeepers' offerings and abilities. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat and have them to thank for such a perfect weekend that made for a wonderful start to my marriage. And don't take it just from me - our friends and family who stayed as guests made sure to mention how much they loved the venue, not only for the ceremony and reception but also for the accommodations and meals. And as a bonus (as if you needed more!) - there is a covered bridge, not 5 minutes away that makes for some gorgeous wedding day photos!

My wife and I contacted the Phineas Swann Bed & Breakfast Inn to host our wedding and we are so glad we did. Not only did we have our ceremony there but we also booked the whole Inn for our dream weekend! They were able to accommodate our whole wedding party for the weekend and host our spectacular wedding. From the food to the ambiance, everything was perfectly planned! we cannot thank Lynne and Darren enough for the fantastic weekend and wedding. It was perfect.
