1) YOUR FREE STUFF! Receive 10% of your party’s sales in merchandise credit when party sales are over $400. Credit is to be used at your party. Free shipping for your order with a qualifying party as well.
2) INVITATIONS: Make a list of family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, hairstylist, manicurist, etc. Remember, women only and over age 18. Encourage everyone to bring a friend -- the more the merrier!
Besides sending invitations, invite everyone to the party by phone or in person. I highly recommend www.evite.com or use the invitations I give you to mail as a reminder. These parties cover personal and sensitive material, so a verbal invitation is important. If you get a bewildered or hesitant look from a potential guest, remind her that thought lots of fun, the party IS tasteful and ordering is confidential – and that there is truly something for everyone – maybe just a body lotion or a candle, or maybe, something with batteries!
If you are using evite feel free to tell them that the first person to respond will get free shipping!
3) THE PARTY: PLEASE tell people that my presentation starts on time. In accordance with state law, all guests must be 18 or older due to the topic of the party. Your guests should not bring babies or children to the party. Please make sure this is closely followed. If a child is in attendance the party cannot take place.
4) PAYMENT: I accept cash, MasterCard, Discover or Visa. I will accept checks but will not place order until the check has cleared. There is a $30 fee for returned checks.
I charge 7.75% state sales tax. I’m also charged shipping and I do need to pass this charge on to my customers. Shipping is waived for you (if your party is over $400)!
6) ORDERING AT YOUR PARTY: For confidentiality reasons I will need a separate room for ordering, preferably on the same floor as the party.
While the ordering is taking place, please help me to keep people flowing into the order room. When one person has completed this process, send the next one in. The orders from your party will be closed out the night of the party; this avoids unnecessary order delays for your guests.
If a guest at your party books a party, you earn $10 in product credit when the party takes place, if the sales are over $400.
If a guest attending your party signs onto my TEAM, you will automatically receive 15% off anything you order for an entire year once they become a qualified consultant ($250 in retail sales).
7) OUTSIDE ORDERS: If someone can’t attend, they can order from my site: www.MrsJohnsonPassion.com. Their purchase will count toward your show’s total and will help to get you even more goodies for free! Be sure to tell them to reference your party and to order prior to or the day of your party. If they do not have access to the web and you feel comfortable taking their order and money please feel free to do so. I will also take orders by email (PayPal) and by telephone.
8) CANCELLATIONS: If you need to reschedule for any reason I require 14 days notice. In booking this party, I set this date aside for you and therefore may turn others away interested in the same evening. I will also need you to confirm the party with me 2-3 days before, and provide me with your guest count at that time.
9.) DELIVERY: Party orders are delivered to your guests (confidentially packaged) within 7-10 days. Longer if guest is paying by check for I will have to wait for the check to clear.
10.) EARNING POTENTIAL: If you are interested in making some extra money and having a blast doing so – talk to me about becoming a consultant. You’d be part of a great team and I’d be there every step of the way to get you rolling!
