The Union Club

The Union Club - a ballroom in which couples can host their wedding celebrations - welcomes couples in the Cleveland, Ohio area. This historic venue features a grand staircase and rooms decorated with stately decor. The Union Club is located in downtown Cleveland, just five minute from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Facilities and Capacity
This elegant venue welcomes up to 250 guests for a couple’s wedding. Couples will find early 20th-century stateliness in this iconic sandstone building. Hosting ceremonies, receptions and engagement parties, this building’s centerpiece is the elaborate and polished marble staircase. The Union Club’s ballroom features columns of ornately-carved wood and resplendent light fixtures overhead and lining the walls. The venue exudes an air of elegance and class for any couple looking to host their wedding at its location.

Food and Beverage minimum for a Saturday and Sunday wedding in 2022/2023 is $18,000.

History
The Union Club has a rich history dating back to 1872. The club was a group of cultured gentlemen of the highest status in the city at the time and throughout the ages. They originally met in a three-story brick landmark formerly known as the Truman Handy Mansion. The current clubhouse was commissioned in 1903 and completed in late 1905 by architect Charles Schweinfurth. It has since welcomed a number of influential figures including presidents and members of congress.
