The Union Club is a timeless and elegant venue with exceptional service that received so many compliments from our guests. Wanting to be a winter bride, we had our wedding the weekend before Christmas and the decor was amazing! Many of our friends and family took pictures on the marble staircase as it was beautifully decorated and provided an incredible backdrop. The stunning architecture, historic charm, and multiple rooms for cocktail hour made this venue stand out. The grand chandeliers inspired my table numbers, various stationary, and our wedding survival kits. When comparing similar venues downtown, the Union Club stood out as the best option due to the services provided at the cost. It was hard to beat!
Working with the coordinator, Sarah, was seamless. She was organized, communicated well, and had attention to detail from start to finish. Being incredibly responsive and professional, she put us at ease throughout the planning process. We experienced a flawless plan, process, and execution. Delicious food was served, with the caesar salad winning over the crowd. We were thrilled to have chosen the Union Club for our wedding reception and would recommend couples consider this venue for a memorable and timeless wedding day, especially around the holidays. The Union Club provides unforgettable high end service and an added bonus of a 2 month membership we enjoyed using. My bridesmaids and I stayed there the night before which was super convenient. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly! -

Nancy and The Union Club staff went above and beyond all of our expectations during the whole weekend of our wedding. From the beginning, they were responsive, organized and overall amazing to work with. The Union Club staff and overall look/feel of the Club made our wedding a dream. Our guests have continued to rave about how amazing and elegant The Union Club was. Their staff was top notch through the entire day and we are so appreciative of their efforts. I highly recommend The Union Club for any event, especially a wedding! -

The Union Club was top notch in everything. We loved working with Nancy from the start! She is helpful, organized and knowledgeable. We knew the Union Club was our dream venue the second we walked in and met Nancy. Every inch of the Club is sophisticated gorgeous with the Grand Staircase, cocktail rooms and ballroom. The entire staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. We also had our rehearsal dinner at the Union Club in the main dining room as well. I will also say that the food is unbelievable. All of our guests were raving about the food and even impressed one of our guests who caters high end parties in NYC. The ballroom is elegant and a very intimate setting. I would recommend the Union Club 100%. Elegant and pristine venue, top notch food and staff. Thank you Nancy, the Union club staff and the Union Club for making our wedding a fairytale wedding and our rehearsal dinner a night to remember! -

Everything we hoped for and more.
From the first meeting and tour, to the tasting, to the preparations, to the last dance, everything was perfect. The professionalism of all the staff and the welcoming spirit made the bride, groom and all the guests feel special and well cared for. Having the entire facility to ourselves was an added bonus. We received countless compliments on the venue, the food, and the service. We couldn't be happier. It was all too good to be true. -

The Union Club was THE best place to celebrate our special day. The staff, facility, and experience were first class. Nancy was a blessing to help us navigate planning, replanning, and replanning again due to covid. She and the entire staff were attentive to all our details and made us feel so special. Our guests were blown away by the beauty in the details of the building, the decedent quality of the food, and exceptional service. We would have our wedding here time and time again and would recommend this facility for any and all events. -

A Dream Come True!!
Never in a million years could I have imagined that our wedding would have turned out as perfect as it did. My husband and I & a few of our immediate family members stayed on the 4th floor of the union club the week of our wedding and from the moment we walked in the door until the morning we left the staff was extremely accommodating and so sweet. The building was incredible. My girls and I got ready on the 2nd floor in parlor 7 and my husband and his groomsmen got ready on the fourth floor, it was great. And my lord, our reception, let’s just say I cried when I walked in the reception for the first time. It was a dream. The entire weekend at the Union Club was WAY better than I could have imagined. It was perfect. Book here! You won’t regret it. -

Wedding 10/3/2020
We had our wedding at the Union Club during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the shut down we weren’t sure if we’d be able to move forward with our wedding on the original date. We decided to move forward with everything as planned. The Union Club was absolutely wonderful with everything. Nancy is incredibly helpful, and she is so kind and understanding. Our day-of coordinator was not very helpful to us prior to the day of the wedding and Nancy helped us through all of the questions we had. The staff were always attentive and professional, the food was good, and everyone had a wonderful time. You will not regret having such an important event at the Union Club! -

Outstanding and gorgeous venue and turn-key planning
We recently hosted our wedding at the Union Club and could not be more pleased with the venue and with our planning coordinator, Nancy Zaroogian. From our first meeting, Nancy was a dream to work with, answering all of my endless questions in a timely manner and seeing to every little detail to ensure our big day was perfect! The venue itself was absolutely spectacular and breathtaking, our guests are still raving about it. We had our ceremony in the front room which was so elegant in the evening, the cocktail hour sprawled between the bar and library which added a cozy feel to kick off the night (complete with a roaring fireplace) and then the dinner and reception in the grand ballroom. It felt like we were at Downtown Abbey!
The food and wine was the best I've ever had at a wedding, a review I've heard over and over again from our guests. The staff were courteous and professional and service was perfectly timed.
I can't say enough about the Union Club as a wedding venue. They made the process SO easy and stress free - every bride's dream! - and worked seamlessly with our other vendors. I highly highly recommend booking your next event or wedding here. Nancy, you deserve as many stars as I can give this review. Thank you for making our dream wedding come true! -

First class everything in a gorgeous venue
Our wedding at the Union Club was incredible, and I cannot find words adequate to express just how wonderful Nancy Zaroogian and her staff are.
From the very beginning, Nancy was organized, responsive and incredibly knowledgable about not only the venue but wedding planning in general. I did not have a planner, and Nancy patiently answered every question and offered guidance when needed. I work in events, and Nancy is hands down the best venue contact I have ever worked with. If I lived in Cleveland I would try to plan every event with her at the UC!
Everything about the Union Club itself was fantastic. From the servers to the receptionist to the maintenance staff, every single person we encountered was kind, attentive and dedicated. They made us feel incredibly special while allowing us to not worry about a single thing.
The Union Club’s wedding packages are inclusive, conducive to stress-free planning, and worth every single penny. The food and service are incredible, and they were flexible and open to reasonable adjustments without adding upcharges for every single request. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the experience was and how pleased we were with our wedding. We are still receiving compliments months later. Thank you to Nancy and the Union Club staff for taking such wonderful care of us. We are forever grateful.

How many weddings have you been to where the food was just OK? At The Union Club, it's five star fantastic! Nancy is like having your very own wedding planner. She makes sure everything is perfect. Karen Sent on 02/17/2018We couldn't be happier with our daughter's wedding experience, The Union Club venue and the help we received from Nancy Zaroogian! It was truly a magical weekend....starting with our weekend rental of The Union Club's fourth floor sleeping rooms for the bride and all of her bridesmaids. It was so fun that we could all be together after the rehearsal dinner and wake up the next morning to our make-up and hair artists and photographers. The photos that you can capture both pre-wedding and post-wedding at The Union Club are unbelievable (both inside and outside). Our photographers (Marc and Tony) were amazing. They really know how to capture the love and beauty of a wedding day! We had cocktails and appetizers on the first floor of The Union Club, which ended up being fabulous (Bar/Grill Room/Library Room)...very traditional, yet unique, venues that all wove together with our quartet's music piped into all three adjoining rooms! After the cocktail reception we adjourned to the formal reception, which was held in the breathtaking 3rd floor ballroom. We had 235 people attend...it was a little tight on the dance floor, but certainly doable! The atmosphere was gorgeous thanks to The Union Club's set-up and attention to every detail. They also allowed us to bring in our own pastries/cookies/candies for a dessert bar, in addition to the wedding cake. We had that beautifully displayed out in the hallway/entrance to the ballroom along with the bar, high-tops, coffee station, guest registry and favor tables. It all looked beautiful! Our florist was Blooms by Plantscaping and they did an exquisite job and our DJ was from The Cleveland Music Group. Our DJ was fantastic; I would definitely use him again! The food was fabulous, too! We received so many compliments about everything! Thanks to The Union Club for making our daughter's wedding day so very, very special! Karen and Dan Tuleta
