Hello!  Thanks for stopping by!  I am Michael Anthony.  We want to thank you for considering us to capture that special moment in your life.  We understand that there are thousands of photographers to choose from, and a million different reasons to choose one or the other, and therefore we are humbled that you have found your way here!

Michael Anthony Photography was established in early 2011.  Although my love for photography had started much earlier, we decided that the timing was right to give this a go.  My first experience with photography started with a class in high school in 1999 believe it or not.  After that I got my first job as a portrait consultant for a local studio, where I learned the ins and outs of the industry.  I also was able to learn about wedding photography, and assist the owner of the studio on his weekend wedding shoots.  After purchasing my first digital camera, I was hooked, and began taking pictures of everything as most photographers do.

In 2007 I met the love of my life Jennifer.   If it were not for her, this whole thing would not have been possible.  Starting a business is tough, and having that support from someone who believes in you has been crucial to our success.  She has become an awesome photographer herself, and I could not imagine getting this far without her.  We are set to have our wedding in Los Angeles in August 2012.

I don’t want to forget the last member of our family, Bella.  She is my 2 year old malti-poo, and she is a firecracker.  Whenever I need a model or a muse, I can count on her to be willing to pose for me (Even if I have to bribe her with bacon).

While MAPhoto is comprised of Jen and I, we also team up with many talented photographers, and have support staff that is assignment specific, we will be introducing more people to you later down the line!

At the time that I am writing this it is April of 2012, and we have been in business for a little over 1 year.  This year has proven that while this journey has been challenging, it has been more successful then we ever thought possible.  We know we are going to bring some really great stuff to you in the future, so be sure to check out our blog and other pages in order to stay up to date on the latest happenings of Michael Anthony Photography.
