I am a wedding photographer because I love spending time with people who delight in each other. After entering the wedding photography world I realized a few things pretty quickly. My favorite weddings were always with couples who were madly in love and experienced their wedding day as a means of celebrating with others the joy they had in each other. I also saw that there are many things within the wedding industry and the planning process that can distract from the sweetness of celebration. I made a commitment to offer something else, to be someone else.
On my wedding I was the happiest man alive. Everything was a miracle to me and nothing in the world could keep my eyes and my thoughts off my bride. I shoot weddings for people who feel what I felt that day.
I am inspired when I see intimate delight. It is my passion to serve couples who feel the same way about their wedding day. I don't see myself as a wedding vendor. I am an artist and a friend who loves celebrating deep love. I just happen to be able to do that best with a camera in my hand. With this mindset, I wake up every wedding day excited about the great delight of seeing and documenting the beauty of the day, because I am exactly where I want to be. I am doing what I love, what I was made for.
I'm not meant to be everyone's wedding photographer. But if you wake up some mornings thinking of your fiancé and realize that you may be the luckiest person alive... then I would like to be yours.
