Mary, who is affectionately referred to as Mammaw (mam- ma,) has been creating wedding cake masterpieces for over thirty years.  About five years ago her daughter, Tina decided to follow in her Mom’s footsteps and start working on wedding cakes herself.  Together, they opened Mammaw’s Sweet Shoppe and quickly began taking orders.  In three short years they were doing over fifty weddings per year.  In 2007 they served sixty seven weddings and this year (2008) with over seventy-five weddings booked through the end of June, they fully expect to close in on their goal of one hundred weddings.  Mary and Tina specialize in both butter cream and rolled fondant cakes in any number of flavors.  Cupcake trees, wedding favors, candy tables and flower decorations for both the cake and the cake table are also areas of expertise.   You are welcome to contact them any time between 11am and 7pm weekly or 11am- 5pm on Saturday to schedule a consultation.  Dates fill up quickly so plan well in advance.  For the absolute best tasting and most elegant cakes, you can’t go wrong at Mammaw’s Sweet Shoppe.  Nobody makes cakes like Mammaw.  Nobody.
