I shoot 100% Digital with Professional Canon Equipment.
How many photographers do you work with?
Myself and one assistant if necessary. Larger, more complex weddings may require an additional photographer and/or additional assistants.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, I am always present and the lead photographer at your event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
NO, I work on only one wedding daily.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, I provide a photographer in case of any life-death emergency.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Two DSLR's, flashes, lenses, batteries, chargers, memory cards, and in some cases Mac 17" lap-top, lacie portable hard drive, card readers, and archive media.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, I always carry back-up equipment.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I charge for a full day but hourly packages are also available depending on the day and season.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Yes, over-time is always available as I only shoot one wedding daily. OT is billed at one and one half times the regular rate.
Do you charge for travel?
Most travel is included within a 50 mile radius of Charlotte. If you are hosting a destination wedding or are a bride in NYC/NJ please call the studio for specifics.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
By contract 4-6 weeks. Web galleries 2-4 weeks. I also provide a small preview on my website a few days after the event.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Web Gallery, Disc and e-contact sheet.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The Web Gallery is hosted for 90 days.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, but there is a release within the contract so that my clients may print for personal usage.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes, One set of High Resolution Digital Image Files are provided to the couple.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes
What kind of albums do you offer?
Flush Mount & Matted Queensberry Albums.
When will the client get the final album?
After you pick your photos, complete the layout process and approve the design, printing and binding should between 6-8 weeks sometimes sooner.
