We are Loren and Rachel Scott of Murrieta, California near Temecula Wine Country. We are also newlyweds, and were married on December 4th, 2009! Having just experienced the whole (crazy!) wedding planning process from start to finish, we have an entirely new appreciation for wedding day photography, and are more dedicated than ever about giving our clients a “quick and painless” and most enjoyable photography experience possible.

Our focus is on modern wedding photojournalism and creative custom portrait photography for our wedding clients. We love photographing weddings! So much so, that at the beginning of 2011, we made the bold decision to forgo any further non-wedding-related photography in order to focus all of our attention on what we do best — weddings! You’ll still find highlights from past boudoir, maternity/newborn, and family portraits within our blog archives. But, moving forward, it’s all about weddings!

We offer our services throughout Southern California, and are also available to travel for both domestic and international destination events. We have the best clients! They allow us to live out our creative passion by inviting us to take part in some of the most profound and celebratory moments of their lives. In exchange, they enjoy a full-service photography experience with personal attention, professionalism, reliable service, and beautiful upscale products in the form of custom-designed albums, fine art wall canvases, and archival-quality heirloom prints.

We are not a “shoot and burn” studio, meaning we won’t just show up to shoot your event, hand over a disc of images, the good with the bad, and then be on our way. There are hundreds of other photographers, both amateur and professional alike, who would be more than happy to shoot you then forget you for a fast buck. Loren Scott Photography is different. We prefer to really get to know you, to understand your style, your event and your needs, and to hopefully develop a lifetime relationship as your favorite event photographer.

As your wedding photographer, we will give you an awesome wedding day experience by photographing your wedding and engagement portraits in our fun, photojournalistic style. We will then put a lot of time and care into culling, organizing and categorizing your images, editing down to the very best keeper shots, so that each final image is beautiful and unique. We will create an online gallery so that you can share your images with family and friends, no matter where they are. And, at the end of the journey, we would love to hand you a big, beautiful wedding album that all your friends will envy and your family can admire for years to come!
