About
As a couple, you bring a unique style to your wedding celebration. As your photographers, it‘s important to us to capture the events of this day in a way that complements your personality and enhances the experience for you and your guests. We want you to look back at the pictures of your wedding day and relive the memories for years to come.

Our approach to photographing your wedding is to document the day as it happens. We enjoy capturing the natural interactions of you and your guests that visually describe the dynamic of your relationships. By using a journalistic approach to photographing your wedding, we find that we‘re able to capture fun, beautiful, and timeless images.

Lauren Brooks is an International Award-Winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association. She was named  #1 photographer in Oregon and #20 photographer Internationally in 2007 by the WPJA.

Frequently Asked Questions for Photography
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
After editing your wedding photos, each image is color corrected to enhance its innate beauty. We do not offer hand-coloring or sepia toning.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We have experience in all lighting situations! We've shot over 40 weddings in the last few of years and almost every one of them was in a different location. We use our equipment to enhance natural light sources, if they are available. If flash is needed, we use our flash off-camera as much as possible to create the look of natural light.

How many photographers do you work with?
Lincoln and Lauren shoot every wedding together. It's just the two of us:)

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, of course!

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We only book one wedding per day. Occasionally we will book two weddings per weekend if they are both local.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes! If one of us is seriously injured or too sick to get out of bed, one of us will be there as the lead photographer. We will hire another photographer with matched skill and style to be the second photographer.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, we have a total of 3 cameras at each wedding. This is a way to ensure that if one fails, we have a back-up.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
We are available to shoot overtime. You're welcome to make that call before your wedding or on the day-of. We charge $250 for each additional hour.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
One, if any. We usually take our breaks one at a time so we don't miss any important events.

Do you charge for travel?
We charge for mileage for any wedding over 40 miles from Portland, Oregon. Travel fees vary depending on the distance and location. Please inquire for a more specific quote.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Between 2 and 4 weeks.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?
With each package, you receive a set of 4x6 printed proofs as well as online web gallery that is available to you for one year.

How long can the client keep the proofs?
The printed proofs are yours to keep!

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, I retain the commercial copyright to all of my photos. If you purchase your disc or if the disc of high-res images comes with your package, you and your family and friends are welcome to make reprints for your personal use.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes, the digital files either come with the package or can be purchased.

Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes. Your online proofs are available for viewing up to one year after your wedding.

What kind of albums do you offer?
Albums are a great way to display and preserve your wedding photos. We currently offer a variety of styles of albums in different sizes, designs and colors. Please inquire for more information.
