What beauty services do you offer?

Do you charge for trials?
Trail appointments are $90 and include makeup application to your liking and as many hairstyles as you would like to try. Trials are held in our studio near the Galleria.
 
Do you travel to the client on the day of the event? If yes, is there a fee?
YES! We travel to you on the wedding day. Travel inside of Beltway 8 is included in our $100 per person pricing! A $35 travel fee applies to locations within 15 miles of the Beltway.
 
How many customers can you serve at one time if the bride were to book her entire bridal party? Are there discounts for doing so?
Our on-location packages are geared toward full bridal parties. For parties of 6 or more we do require an assistant. We also offer bride-only and smaller groups in our studio near the Galleria.
 
How far in advance should clients book your services?
It's difficult to say how quickly a day will fill up. You can reserve your date by mailing a completed contract and $200 deposit, which is applied to your balance. Contact us for availability and to request a contract (info@jordantemplemakeup.com).

Tips and Advice
Don’t wax your eyebrows just before the wedding!
We recommend you wax about a week and half before the wedding and no closer.  Waxing often removes the top layer of your skin, making it almost impossible to get makeup to stay in place.  You also want to be sure that you have time to recover from redness.  There is nothing worse than red stripes around your beautifully arched eyebrows!

Maintain a good skin regimen.
Find out what skin care products work best for your skin and stick with them.  Product experimentation should take place 6 months prior to the wedding and no closer.  Be sure that your regimen includes weekly exfoliating and daily moisturizing.

Come with clean hair.
You may have heard that dirty hair makes better up-dos, but we don’t agree.  We can’t predict how oily each person’s hair will be and oiliness can make it very flat, so we ask you come with clean hair and we’ll make it plenty dirty with hairspray!   Please be sure to avoid any oily hair products, such as frizz ease, which make it more difficult to curl with an iron.   We ask that you let your bridesmaids know this as well.

Relax!
Take your time in the makeup chair to relax!  Set the expectation for your BMs and family that this will be your time to take a breather. This will give you a chance to calm yourself and take a minute alone (sort of) to think about the event that is about to take place, and we can do a better job if you aren’t talking or being talked to.
