Allison did my hair & make up at my best friend’s wedding. 3 weeks later I got engaged & she was the first thing I booked! I knew I wanted her & her team! Allison & her team are literally the best!! So talented!! They also bring so much positive & fun!! Love her!

Thank you AH Specialties for helping my my wedding day perfect. I was rather picky about how I wanted my makeup to look and extremely picky about how I didn't want it to look. I feared having too much makeup applied where my face and neck weren't the same color or eyelashes so long and unnatural. I spent months trying to find the perfect makeup person and finally came across AH Specialties. Allison was very sweet and very helpful. We booked with her two weeks before the wedding!! I went to do my makeup trial and she listened to everything I wanted (or thought I wanted). She had suggestions but I told her I wanted things MY WAY and I ended up not loving the colors I picked for my eye shadow. Allison offered me a second trial, that time I trusted her and let her do her magic. Every color she picked was perfect and it looked great for the wedding. My bridesmaids also had their makeup done and all three of them looked absolutely beautiful. Their makeup wasn't too heavy or caked on; just enough to brighten their own beauty. I also can't begin to tell you how patient Allison and her team were on our wedding day. I kept being pulled from the bridal suite for this and that, leaving them waiting on me to return. They were very understanding and great to work with. They also did all of our hair, which I got lots of compliments on all night! I highly recommend AH Specialties!

Allison is responsive, fun-spirited, kind, and professional. I did a trial run for my wedding hair and makeup, and I highly recommend taking advantage of that offering — it was wonderful to meet Allison in person before the big day, talk through my vision, and ask all my questions.
On the wedding day, the team arrived early and had us running ahead of schedule. They completed six makeup services and nine hairstyles flawlessly. I even decided to change my hairstyle the morning of the wedding, and Allison didn’t hesitate for a second — she graciously accommodated my request and made it look perfect.
I couldn’t have asked for a better glam team to make us all feel beautiful and confident!

It was such a smooth process working with Allison and her team. I felt so at ease during the whole process! She did my hair and makeup the day of my wedding along with some other members of the wedding party, and all of us felt like they did such an amazing job. My hair and makeup did not budget at all, lasting me the whole night even with all the dancing! Without a doubt, I would work with AH Specialties again if I had another big event coming up :)

This review is long overdue! We used AH Specialties for our wedding on 11.11.22. It was an amazing experience. It was important to us to pick vendors that we felt comfortable with, we were looking for those that were personable and that we trusted with our special day. From my trial with Allison to our wedding day I was met with all the above and more. Her team made my bridesmaids and I look beautiful and we’re so easy going and fun while we were getting ready. I loved working with them so much when I had my baby shower that following September I reached out to them again to do my hair and makeup. Highly recommend !!!

AH Specialties is absolutely amazing! Allison & her team are all fantastic & do really excellent work. They made me, all of my bridesmaids, & my mom all look & feel beautiful on my wedding day. I want to give a special shout out to Karley and Reagan for making my time in their chairs a wonderful experience all the way around. I really wasn't sure what hair style I had in mind but Karley read my mind. I'm not from the humid Houston and since it rained in sheets off and on all day and night I was pretty sure my do wasn't going to last till the evening. Oh but it did!!! I still had the do the next morning even! Reagan too not only created the look but taught me some things for future as well. On a day like this, some times it's not all about the task but yet the calming influence and overall care of the experience that a gal remembers. Thank you for the gift.

Allison and her team were absolutely amazing!! I had 1 trial and then had Allison so my hair for bridals and both times I LOVED the way that my hair turned out. She was so personable and easy to get a long with, which was one of the main reasons that solidified my decision to have her do my hair for my wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Allison and her team knocked it out of the park with every hair style they did for my bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding hair stylist!! Allison, you were incredible. Thank you for making my day so special!

I used AH Specialties for hair/makeup for my July 30th wedding.
Allison and her team are fantastic! They are so kind and really strive to make sure your vision is achieved. Communication was excellent, which I really appreciated considering planning a wedding has so many moving parts. My entire bridal party and I all received at least one of their services. Karley did my hair and makeup, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Both were flawless. I cannot recommend AH Specialties enough!
