Liz was amazing. She did my wedding on pretty short notice and was so professional and helpful. My bridesmaids and Moms hair was beautiful and the airbrush makeup she did on us was stunning. It stayed on all night. She also covered a scar that would have been visible through my wedding dress. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for event hair/makeup in the houston area.

Liz is fantastic! She is very professional and tries to work with your schedule. I only gave a her a general idea of what I wanted for makeup and she did a wonderful job. It was exactly what I wanted, and she did ask me if I wanted to change anything or add anything to let her know. She is so kind and fast.

So I heard about Liz from one of my good friends who was one of my bridesmaids! I was having a crisis with my makeup artist and I needed to find a new one asap. My friend helped me out and told me how amazing Liz was and how she did her hair and makeup for her bridal portraits and for her wedding. I decided I would give it a shot and I was not disappointed. Liz and I hit it off immediately. She was so accommodating and professional. She was an absolute pleasure to have as my hair and makeup artist. She did a beautiful job creating my look for my wedding day. I was able to give her a picture from Pinterest and she did a better job than what the picture looked like. On the day of, Liz and her assistant came prepared with all of their materials. My hair and makeup lasted all day!!! Not to mention, so did my bridesmaids. I was so pleased with Liz, I could not recommend her enough. I only wish I had known her sooner so she could have done my engagement pictures! Liz Day and Angela are amazing! My daughter had another stylist/artist cancel on her the day before her bridals and Angela did her hair and makeup exactly like she wanted for her bridals (she looked stunning). Liz and Angela helped make the wedding day run smoothly are professional, calm and great to work with. Plus, they travel to venues! We all looked fabulous and I would highly recommend them and/or use them for any event!

I am so very grateful for her services. I contacted her one day before my wedding when another hair stylist cancelled on me. She was able to work me in and was very patient on my day of wedding seeing I got lost on the way to venue! Truly a lifesaver. My hair was beautiful lasting throughout the night and a photo shoot at my hotel.

Liz and her assistant did such a wonderful job making my wedding day beautiful. I can’t tell you how many people at our wedding commented on our bridal party’s hair, specifically. All of the bridesmaids were in love with their hair & makeup and couldn’t stop talking about how great of a job Liz did. It is truly amazing how talented she is, and impressive how she effortlessly created “red carpet” level styling in such a short amount of time -- whether directed by a mere glance at a photograph or an indecisive explanation by a bridesmaid of the general style sought after.

In addition to Liz's talents, it meant so much to have hair & makeup artists that morning who were perceptive & extremely dependable. With a morning wedding, the most stressful part of my day was worrying about pre-event prep. Liz arrived not only on-time, but early, and also assured that we were all ready not only with time to spare, but were each given a level of attention that made each girl feel heard and pampered.

I also so appreciated her attention to detail – both in the look & hold of the style. I was worried that my stubborn bangs would fall out of the up-do mid-day, but she miraculously styled it loosely AND with stellar hold to where that did not happen until I took it down 12 hours later. Liz's talents truly helped shape the day and made me and my girls all shine over how beautiful we all felt. Liz's assistant Sunny also did such a wonderful job on our makeup. It took me a while to find a makeup style I felt would complement our wedding’s theme and colors, while also accentuating my bridesmaid’s natural features at an outside, morning ceremony. Sunny captured the look perfectly and in a way that was unique to each girl's beauty while still keeping the looks uniform enough for a group of bridesmaids and the perfect level of glamour for a bride, with makeup light/natural enough for a morning wedding.

She is super cool, friendly and professional. I decided to do my hair and makeup at her location.
She works very quickly but does an great job. Which is a good thing. I do not like slow pace people when working with my beauty needs. Because if they are good at what they do they work quick and the results come out just right. I did a trial on airbrush makeup. I didn't like how it look on me so decided to do makeup myself. The hair though was perfect. She added extensions (which matched my hair color), lashes and flower/feather headpiece. She also did my mother's hair and one of my bridesmaids hair and makeup . They both were not completely satisfy with the end results. That is why it's so important to do a trial because you might not know if what you want might look good on you. On the other hand, I did get alot of positive feedback on my hair and headpiece on my wedding day! Oh and her prizes were very reasonable.

I was referred to Liz by a friend who was using her for her wedding. She actually did my bridesmaid make up. She showed up on time for my wedding and everyone loved their hair and make up. It lasted all night long!

Elizabeth Day of Hair by Liz is amazing at what she does. All of my ladies looked stunning for my wedding. There was only one person not satified with their makeup because their foundation was too light in color. It was Liz's helper that did her makeup not Liz herself. That said, overall everyone loved the way they looked and my hair and makeup were flawless throughout the night. I will definitely use her again if I have any other BIG events and will recommend her to everyone I know.

Liz did my (and my bridal party's) hair and my make up only. She did a great job-my hair never holds a curl, and even though she warned me it may not stand up against the wind outside (we had an outdoor wedding), my hair stayed the entire night and looked great! I loved it. And everything she recommended for my makeup was just perfect. Great job, thanks!
