My name is John LoConte. I am a very passionate wedding and portrait photographer located in the New England area. It has been and continues to be a great pleasure to work with people of all ages and backgrounds to record their special moments and events. I tend to take a more photojournalistic approach to my work by having you forget that I am even there and by letting my photographs tell the story. Also, I am able to capture the traditional formal/posed photographs as well. I use the latest and best Nikon photography equipment available along with top of the line editing software. My home is located in Boston, Massachusetts and I am available for photography jobs anywhere in New England. I am also available for destination weddings. I look forward to working with all of you in the future!

How would you identify your photographic style? I tend to use a more photojournalistic approach to wedding receptions by staying out of the way and capturing the moments as they happen.

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? I use my best judgment when retouching your images and I try to include a fair mix of color, sepia, black and white and selective color images.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? I have strong experience shooting in all different types of lighting conditions. My equipment is most popular for handling low light situations which occur often when shooting a wedding.

Is your media preference film or digital? I always shoot in digital.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Yes! you will always have me as your wedding photographer and not an associate or student.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day? Weekend? I only shoot one wedding per day but sometimes we do book more than one wedding per weekend.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day? I network myself with several professional wedding photographers and I am able to provide an option to you if I become unavailable but I have never missed an event!

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? I always have full back up equipment with me at every wedding that I cover.

Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal? If coverage is to last more than six hours a meal is kindly requested but never required.

What kind of albums do you offer? My wedding albums are designed exclusively through Asuka Book and you may check them out in more detail by visiting www.asukabook.com

How long does it take to deliver a book? It usually takes two months to receive your book from the time that you make the final selection on which images to be included in your album.
