Heather and Richard are award-winning photographers specializing in wedding and portrait photography.

We are Richard & Heather, a husband and wife who are crazy about each other and just so happen to share a passion for photography. We have 3 awesome kids, who are all growing up way to fast and are the light of our lives. As a husband and wife and as parents we know how precious time is and how important it is to document every possible moment. We are both pretty emotional people when it comes to photographs. We are very nostalgic and our family means the world to us, there are many times throughout our lives that we just love to look through old photographs, talk about those memories with each other and also with our kids. No matter how big or small, without photos, we might have forgotten a moment spent together in those first days as a dating couple, or our child’s first grin. Photos remind us of the beauty of Washington Sunsets and mountains.

The love exchanged with a glance across the room between a groom and his new bride, or the father giving his daughter away. When we shoot a wedding not only do we love capturing the love between the couple, but we also love to see the family interact. We love to see the hugging, the laughter and the real emotions played throughout the day. The best part we believe about having us as your photographers is that Richard photographs from a man’s perspective and Heather from a woman’s point of view. Working as individual artists, you get dual coverage of your entire event from two artists who see the world through different lenses (literally!). The ability to capture those moments is truly a gift and we love giving that gift to others.

Our teamwork and experience keeps us calm, happy, and comfortable no matter what the day brings! Our passion is to show every person in the best light possible. This means finding the best light at a location while we are out with you. We want our clients to be at ease because the best pictures happen when people feel free to be themselves! Every single person is uniquely different from the next so we spend time getting to know each client personally so when we create photos together, they reveal who they truly are.

Heather Mayer Photography is currently serving the Greater Seattle Area, King County, Snohomish County, Skagit County and we also travel worldwide for your wedding day as well.

All Pictures will be taken at ON SITE Locations or at their 1,000 sq ft. studio.
