We cannot be happier with Ted as our DJ! His price was right and from the first interaction we had we knew we wanted to work with him. His timeline template was thorough and he was flexible the entire time. Day of the wedding he helped the day move along and played fantastic music! He read the room. I cannot recommend him and Sweet Sounds enough!

My husband and I are so happy we chose Sweet Sounds DJ as our DJ and Emcee. Ted was great to work with throughout the process. During the planning stages, he responded to our emails timely and came up with great ideas for reception music and events based on the vibe we were going for. On our wedding day, when my husband and I were running a little behind with our timeline of events, Ted really helped us get back on track smoothly. Ted was very organized, professional, flexible, and friendly. We had so much fun with the Shoe Game and dancing to the reception music. We highly recommend Sweet Sounds DJ!

Had an amazing time working with Ted (Owner) and Hugh ( Our DJ ). We initially met with Ted and had an in-depth conversation with him regarding what we were wanting. He then sent over a google doc timeline for us to update throughout the planning process which was super helpful. A few weeks before our event we connected with Hugh and had a final check in call with him and went over the timeline and discussed everything. Hugh arrived on time and was great through the whole event both being our DJ and Emcee for the night. He kept the music bumping and everyone enjoyed dancing the night away. I would definitely recommend their services !!

Ted was an absolute delight to work with from start to finish. While planning for the event, he made certain to know what the timeline for the evening was, what vibe we wanted for the music, they playlist for the evening, and who was and was not allowed to get in front of a mic. He was full of tips and tricks about how to help guests keep a good time rolling, while minimizing any drama from grumpy or tipsy guests. Day of, he was full of good humor and energy, made sure to introduce himself to anyone giving a toast so they'd know who to go to, and kept people on the dance floor all night with some great music. Absolutely would recommend Ted to run your wedding or reception.

I met Ted from Sweet Sounds while attending the Seattle wedding expo in November 2022. What set him apart from the rest of the DJ booths right away was: He was wearing a full suit. He was professional, yet engaging. And he asked me about my wedding, what we were looking for and what style of music we enjoyed. I knew right then as I left, with contact information in hand and his intent to connect with me in a day or two, that Ted would be our DJ.
From the start of planning, until our wedding, Ted was right there along side us throughout the whole process of planning our wedding music, the flow of how we wanted the night to go, and what music and special dancing we wanted. Ted was personable and easy to talk to, answered all our questions, (even the silly ones), and handled our last minute changes with ease. He wanted to make sure we were satisfied with what was set up for our wedding day, and having that confidence made me and my new husband enjoy our wedding without worry. Ted worked well with my friend/wedding coordinator the day-of for set up, where to set up the microphones and speakers, and executed everything perfectly. When we saw that we needed to move certain songs or a special dance up earlier during the reception, (and even end the night sooner than we thought), he made the transition and flow very easily. We felt very well taken care of and everyone enjoyed the wedding and reception! And Ted from Sweet Sounds played a huge role in that. We would definitely recommend Sweet Sounds to anyone, and would hire Ted again for any other events in the future!

I’m so glad I booked Ted for my wedding. He knew how to work a crowd while he was on the mic as an MC and he knew what songs to play to get people dancing. Feeling swamped when I was planning the wedding, I asked Ted to be in charge of coming up with ideas for what music to play during cake cutting, entrances, first dances, etc and he nailed it. Took a load off my shoulders. He has enough experience to know what works at a wedding. Can’t recommend him enough!

Sweet Sounds was hired as a MC/Dj for my son's wedding and was the key to keeping things on track. His attention to detail both before and during the wedding was perfect -- the music choices were the best for all age groups and he was so accommodating on all last minute requests. Hire Ted!

Martin is AWESOME! He showed up early, got everything all organized & kept the timeline moving. On top of that, he’s so fun and easy to work with. The night was perfect & the party was a ton of fun. We got lots of feedback from our guests that the music, vibe & Martin’s hosting was on point.

Ted was the MC/DJ for our wedding and from the very first phone call he was everything we were looking for in an DJ. He hit the nail on the head by emphasizing a good, personable MC and the guests loved him! He was also very quick to respond and provided us with the timeline/info sheet we needed to stay organized. He also leaves a judgement-free space for you to talk about those family members/friends who might be a challenge at the reception. Totally put us at ease and made wedding planning a whole heck of a lot less stressful. Highly recommend! He traveled all the way out the Ellensburg for us!
