Brian Friedman is more than a photographer. He is a creative photojournalist; a storyteller who carefully documents the story of a wedding day as he sees it unfolding. He is after more than pictures; he seeks to capture the essence of your relationship, the story of your romance, and always with the intention of making art. A lifetime New Yorker himself, its easy to see Brian's passion for the City and Tri-State. In addition to being the choice of local brides, he’s quickly become a favorite to couples from the United Kingdom who have chosen New York City as their wedding destination. Often Brian will move outside the traditional wedding setting and use New York City backgrounds and sites to add visual glamour and excitement capturing the very heart of New York.

Regardless of where you get married or how many guests you have, Brian brings the same warm and fun energy with him. We eloped from Ireland to NYC and made the very wise decision to choose Brian to photograph our wedding day. He had been recommended to us by another Irish Couple! Right from our enquiry, Brian got back to us straight away and left us with no doubt that he was the "best man!" for the job!! He is so friendly and professional and we knew from the off that we had made a great decision.

We sent Brian a text a couple of days before the wedding to make sure everything was ok and didnt feel the need to have to meet with him before the day itself.

On the day of the wedding, Brian came to meet us in our hotel room as previously arranged. He is such a sound, cool guy. You cant help but like him as he is chatty, friendly and really puts you at ease. It really does show that Brian wants you to have a good day.

We trusted Brian so much that we let him take full control of the pics on that day. We let him choose where and how he wanted to take the shots. It was great being with someone who was happy to be in control. Brian took amazing pics in the hotel suite, outside the hotel, waiting for a cab, was there to catch images of my veil blowing into a tree(what are the chances!!) arriving at the church, in the church and afterwards in Central Park.

I cant explain how delighted we were when we saw our wedding pictures for the first time. We looked at them over and over again. Brian had taken so many pictures of us and we didnt even see or know he had taken those shots!

The best thing about the pictures are that they tell the story of our wedding day. When showing our pictures to family and friends they really get to see how the day unfolded and that is thanks to Brian. Everyone comments on how fantastic the pictures are.

Not only was Brian our photographer but he was also our witness on the day and now we can call him a friend!

I cant recommend Brian highly enough. He is the man for the job in our opinion. You can trust him to deliver and not only that but you'll enjoy your time with him. He has a great eye and attention to detail.
