Reliable, trustworthy, personable & confident, this desribes Essential Event Planning.  Let me start by saying thank you for visiting our storefront.  I hope the information on this site will give you more information on event planning and how we may be able to help you with your event.

My name is Deena Shields, I am the owner of Essential Event Planning.  I began my career in 1992 with my own florist.  While working in the floral industry I have been involved in planning all types of events from fund raisers to weddings.  In the last 16 years I have developed relationships with all types of vendors.  The vendors that I choose to work with have proven themselves many times over in their individual industries, and I trust them. 

It is very important to me to help companies and individuals stay on budget.  Our budget team will assist with balancing all budget needs and to show you how to stay within a set budget. Please take a few moments to review our website and if you have any questions please feel free to call or email us.

Tips and Advice
Be picky when choosing a wedding planner.  I work for a flat fee, not a percentage of your total wedding.  I feel that it is my job to make sure that all of your wedding needs are met without baseing my work on the amount of money that will be spent on a wedding.
