Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Full feature image manipulation with all special effects, color corrections, masking etc.
 
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Very experienced with any lighting situation.
 
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital but film is offered as well.
 
How many photographers do you work with?
One main Photographer with two great Photographers for back up.
 
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, unless something extraordinary happens.
 
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
To assure the quality I never contract more than one event per day.
 
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, I do.
 
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
My equipment is updated (upgraded) every year and is always top-notch.
 
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Always.
 
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Typically is per event but could be arranged hourly too.
 
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Usually Yes. The charge is determined during the contract negotiation.
 
Do you charge for travel?
No travel charges in the Chicago metro area- (Out of area weddings are negotiable)
 
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs are available one week to ten days following the wedding.
 
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Proofs are offered in traditional 4x6 prints in a leather presentation box and posted on line.
 
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Keeping the proofs - The proofs are included in the wedding services and are the bride and groom's to keep.
 
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
The bride and groom are provided a release for reproduction of the images.
 
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
The photographer reserves the right to publish images unless there are strong objections by the bride and groom.
 
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Full resolution digital files on DVD are provided to the bride and groom.
 
Will images be available for viewing online?
Wedding images are posted online for viewing and the purchase of prints by the couples friends and family.
 
What kind of albums do you offer?
Zookbinders and Graphis Studio in a full range of sizes and finishes - included in the full service wedding package.
 
When will the client get the final album?
Albums are typically completed and delivered approximately two months after the wedding.

Are you a commercial studio or a home-based business?
Because the nature of the business and to keep the cost lower it's a home-based business.
 
What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
All types. However I do not have a single customer who didn't want to take advantage of my editing.

Full feature editing with special effects, color corrections, masking etc.
 
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
Yes, all the necessary on and off camera hi-quality lights.
 
How many videographers do you work with?
One main and three great Videographers for additional secondary cameras and back-up.
 
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
Always.

Yes, unless something extraordinary happens.

This is determined by the contract.
 
Do you give access to your raw footage?
Yes, I do. You may have it if you want it.

Yes, unless there are strong objections by the bride and groom.
 
Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?
It's her choice. Usually the bride is comfortable with my style and the input is narrowed down to music choice.
 
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
Two to Six weeks.
