Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings?
I will be happy to schedule a consulation with you to discuss your cake. I understand that you have a million and one decisions to make and I try to keep it simple for you by offering a no-pressure taste sampling. My assumption is that you are information gathering, so I do not expect a decision, a commitment or a check on that day. This also gives me a chance to get to know your likes and dislikes in regards to the cake that I will be designing for you and get back with you on a quote a few days later.
What are your tasting hours?
By appointment only.
Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?
Prices start at $3.00 a slice for Buttercream and $4.00 a slice for Fondant covered (1x2x4 inch slices) cake with basic borders. A special design can be incorporated into your wedding or special occasion cake. Prices vary with complexity of design. Please feel free to let me know if you have something special you would like.
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
If you have some photos of cakes youve seen that you like, please bring those with you. If you have a specific color you want used in your cake design, please bring a color swatch that you can leave with us (a scrap of material, ribbon, or one bride even brought us a paint card from the hardware stores paint dept! )
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
1 to 2
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
Delivery is available on 3 tiered Special Occasion and Wedding cakes only (delivery/setup fee to be determined with each order.
