What is included in a wedding catering package?

Your wedding catering may be provided by your wedding venue, or you may want or need to hire an outside caterer. What are the different ways to serve wedding reception food?

When determining your wedding food cost, a big factor will be how you’re planning on serving the meal. There are a few serving style options for weddings:

Plated: Otherwise known as a sit-down meal, your guests will be served their meal at their table by a member of the wait staff. There may be a single entrée option served or several entrée options, which your guests can either order in advance (usually on their RSVP card) or at the event. This is the most formal and traditional of wedding serving styles.

When looking for a caterer, we were told by multiple people that if you are a foodie, this was the place you booked with. That statement is 100% accurate. Everything Savoie served at our wedding was super delicious. They worked to create a nice, cozy fall menu for us that felt special without being overdone. They were also super accommodating in preparing a special, separate meal for one guest who had severe allergies to gluten and soy. Nico are her team were on top of it all during the reception and made sure all of our vendors were fed as well (one vendor forgot to mention they needed to be fed and the staff quickly fixed a plate for them). We went home with tons of leftovers which fed us for an additional week after, haha! They also did a great job bartending for our guests. Would highly recommend them for ANY event that needs catering. They are on the pricier side but we found it was definitely worth the money!!!

Anita went above and beyond to create a beautiful, delicious and memorable meal for our 150 wedding guests! Her menu was creative and stylish, the servers were courteous and attentive, and her easy manner put everyone at ease. The Rock House signature dishes we chose were a universal hit with our guests, and Anita and her staff made sure that the wedding party didn't have to worry about a thing from set-up to clean-up. The pricing is very fair, and the value is exceptional. 5 stars for the Rock House Eatery Catering Company!
