Dave Cross is a transplant from easy-breezy California… which possibly explains his laid back approach to photography, and the continuous praise he receives from brides for making their wedding day stress-free.

A lover of scuba diving and landscape photos, Dave found a knack for wedding photography quite by accident. One of the first photographers in New York to adopt the digital medium, Dave continues to pursue the newest technologies available—hoping that one day his photo equipment will work as quickly as his photographic eye.

On any given night, you’ll find Dave enjoying a fine wine and a blockbuster movie—two things you might not think go well together until you give it a try! In his spare time, Dave plays tennis less-well than his favorite player Roger Federer, but better than his assistant Nick, who still hasn’t picked up a racket.

For more than a decade, Dave has combined a documentary eye for spontaneous photos with a relaxed editorial feel for portraiture to deliver stunning photos of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut brides.
