Carly was the very first wedding vendor we hired! As soon as we stumbled upon her photography we knew immediately she was exactly who we wanted to capture our day. We originally hired Carly for our big wedding celebration in late October at a venue on the Cape. Little did we know, life would throw us a curveball and due to family circumstance, added a very emotional and intimate wedding ceremony ~1 month before our big day. Within 30 minutes of texting Carly to ask if she would be available for the smaller ceremony as well, she called me, confirmed a babysitter and promised she'd be there for us. Carly was caring, sensitive and human in a time when we needed it most. She captured moments we will truly cherish forever. Above all, she is a wonderful person to her core.

Carly is an incredible photographer! We utilized her talents for both our engagement and wedding photos. We were stunned by how beautiful our engagement photos turned out (especially since my fiancé hates having his picture taken) and how rarely we felt “posed” during the shoot. We felt the same way on our wedding day! It was insanely humid, resulting in frizzy hair and sweat from everyone. But you would have never guessed that after seeing the pictures that Carly took - they were perfection! And most importantly, our wedding day didn’t feel like a photo shoot! She let us enjoy the moments that we wanted to be present for and was able to capture the candid emotion during them. She was incredibly calm and cool during every moment, which made us feel calm. She was organized and communicative in the months leading up to the wedding. AND - she was able to do it all right after coming back to work from maternity leave. We cannot recommend her enough!!

We found Carly on Instagram and could tell she was talented, but we continued to be blown away by her every step of the way! Carly was extremely easy to work with, caring, professional, and so calm even when the day is chaotic. A wedding day can feel busy and stressful, especially with changing weather conditions, and Carly is very zen and positive no matter what, so she was so wonderful to have with us throughout the weekend. We are fairly camera-shy people, and from the start when we took our engagement pictures with her, she made us feel so comfortable and natural and made us look better than we ever have before. Also, she is very communicative, and we were consistently incredibly impressed with the turn around time for the preview and album. Carly and her team really captured the beauty and joy of the whole weekend, and I am so grateful. Where do I even start?! Carly is BEYOND talented. I booked Carly as soon as I booked my venue back in January 2019 without hesitation after seeing her work. Fast forward through the COVID-19 pandemic, Carly was with us at every step of the way, postponement after postponement. Carly was a phone call/text away, and I knew I couldn't lose her. Carly sent a detailed timeline weeks in advance of my wedding, provided advice for locations based on her knowledge and experience of the lighting. Carly exceeded ALL expectations on the day of our wedding. She showed up early, answered all my questions before I could even ask them, had a plan for our first look since our original location was a bit crowded. She was on the ball and ahead of everything. Carly does it all, from helping me with my veil, holding items from my fiancé's pocket, giving our trolley driver directions, knew the ins and outs of Boston, handled the chaos of extended family formals. We received so many sneak peaks days after our wedding and we were so impressed with how the pictures came out. I couldn't recommend Carly enough. Thank you, thank you!

After seeing Carly’s work after getting engaged in 2018 I knew I had to have her. I reached out immediately and booked her before any other vendor. Then Covid hit, and to say that planning and rescheduling a wedding during a global pandemic was difficult and emotional would be an understatement. Carly was there every step of the way to provide guidance, listen to me complain and vent, follow up on our plans and when we decided to change our date there was no doubt that whatever date we chose had to work around Carly’s schedule. To this day that was the best decision my husband and I made. Throughout the course of planning Carly became a friend and someone that I knew I could trust to help make decisions that were best for my now husband and I. On the day of the wedding Carly was an absolute blessing and such a calming presence. She helped to keep everything on schedule and make adjustments on the fly when things got off track, she kept me calm, made me laugh, and it really felt like I had a friend by my side all day. When we got our sneak peeks back the next day I was absolutely speechless, the photos were absolutely stunning and I couldn’t wait to see more. Thankfully we didn’t have to! Carly got us back our final photos just TWO WEEKS later! I was in awe at the turnaround time and the quality of the images and my husband and I were in tears looking through them as they captured the day to an absolute tee. We are so obsessed with them all that we literally cannot decide on which ones to have printed. Carly is the best of the best. I feel so lucky to have had her as a part of our day and to have the most beautiful, raw, candid photos to look back on and cherish for the rest of our lives.

What can we say about Carly! Carly surpassed every expectation we had for our wedding photographer. From the second we contacted her she was professional, kind and genuine. We decided to do engagement photos to get used to being in front of the camera. We had no idea what to expect, and she blew us away with her talent. Pre-planning for our wedding Carly was amazing. She planned out every detail according to our timeline. Carly had already organized a list of every picture she could foresee that we wanted and then allowed us to do more options, not having to worry about all of our family, bridal party photos etc. was such a relief, with all of the other planning. We were set on our first look being at our ceremony, which did not give us a lot of time for pictures before the sunset. Carly and her second photographer did an amazing job in such a short time, we have so many options to choose from and they allowed us to do plan our wedding the way we had wanted it to be. We had a sneak peak within days and all of our pictures by the time we got home from our honeymoon. To sum up Carly's work, my father in law put it best when he looked at the photos, "she captured every emotion of the day".

Our wedding was on September 1, 2018 in Ogunquit, Maine. Photography was one of our top priorities and shortly after our engagement, a trusted friend referred us to Carly. As soon as we saw her work, we knew she was the one and were so glad she was available. From beginning to end, Carly was nothing short of professional, kind, helpful, enthusiastic and super responsive. We put Carly through obstacle courses with our photo shoot requests for our engagement photos and wedding day. Our engagement photos were taken while sailing the Boston Harbor, and when I say “while sailing”, I mean my fiancé was the captain and we were taking photos as he drove the boat. Carly did not flinch at the suggestion and was so excited to try something fun with us! The photos turned out beautifully and were so nice to have for our save-the-dates, holiday cards, shower thank-you notes, Christmas gifts for parents, etc. I need to mention the speed with which we got these photos back - Carly was so quick!

I could write a short novel on how Carly + her assistant Jeremy impacted our wedding day. Carly was AMAZING and so much more than a photographer! She was my sense of calm and reason and put me at ease while being surrounded by craziness. She kept us on track from a timeline perspective, helped people get from A to Z, fixed my hair, helped me put on my shoes – the list goes on. A moment I recall so clearly while getting ready on our wedding day, was when one of my bridesmaids came up to Carly and me, and said, “Do you two know each other, were you friends before this?” The answer was no, but the question speaks volumes as to how comfortable and at ease I felt with Carly throughout the entire process.

Our first look was on the rocky cliffs of Maine’s coast, and again without hesitation, Carly was excited for the adventure and assured us we would get the shots we envisioned for our special day – and boy did we ever! We had hoped to leave the venue to take some photos just the two of us at one of our favorite nearby harbors, and just when I thought we wouldn’t have time, Carly and her assistant made sure it happened, and even escorted us in their car while keeping our day on track. Carly was such a huge part of our day – I honestly do not know what I would have done without her. Carly + her assistant Jeremy managed to capture so many elements that we would have otherwise missed and all without being intrusive. A few days after our wedding, I had an email from Carly including a sneak preview of our wedding day shots. Within TWO WEEKS, we had our entire wedding collection to review and share with family and friends.

I first found Carly on Instagram a few years ago and just loved how she captured movement, unique poses and just the love within a picture of a couple!
