Lisa made the entire process of picking cake and desserts for our wedding extremely easy.. and tasty! She was very warm and welcoming at the tasting, and helped us pinpoint the exact kind of cake we wanted. She was also very responsive when we had follow-up questions, and everything that was delivered on the day of looked absolutely spectacular! I am so happy that we found Lisa Parker for our wedding cake(s). She was friendly, generous with her time, fairly priced, and most importantly her cakes were delicious!

We chose an almond cake filled with lemon curd buttercream and raspberry preserves, frosted with vanilla buttercream, for the wedding cake. Lisa delivered it to Augusta, Maine and decorated it with flowers provided by our florist. The results were stunning.

She also created a grooms cake for me - vanilla cake with chocolate ganache filling and frosted with chocolate buttercream. Both cakes got a HUGE thumbs up from my dessert-loving hubby.

I couldn't have asked for more! I can't wait to have our cake again on our first anniversary, and to order many more cakes from Lisa over the years (she has reassured me that she can ship to Virginia). Thank you, Lisa!

Lisa is SO great. We didn't know if we wanted to have a cake at our wedding because neither of us are sweets people and we wanted to do things more non traditional but we wanted to go to a tasting and see how we were feeling. We set up a tasting with Lisa to see how everything tasted and first off, she is just the cutest person you will ever meet. She is so so sweet and kind. She made us a few different cakes with different frostings to try and everything was so delicious, it wasn't your typical overly sweet frosting or cakes - everything had real flavor and nothing was too sweet. We tried jams as well and can I just say, the best jam I have ever had - we loved it so much she even gave us a tiny jar to take home which was so nice.

After trying her cake, we had to say yes - it was too good not to have one. We winded up going with Caribbean rum cake with passion fruit frosting and spice cake with blueberry jam in between. We also wanted to get hand pies for our wedding and luckily, Lisa made those so we ordered a few dozen from her for our dessert table.

Lisa was a pleasure to work with and made the process so easy and she was flexible. When we showed up for our wedding and finally walked into the barn and saw the cake she created for us, I was blown away. It was a half naked cake with blue frosting and flowers on it and it was the best cake that I've ever eaten. Lisa did such a good job and everyone asked where we got the hand pies from and many people took them home because they loved them so much.

Lisa did amazing work. The cake and hand pies were the tastiest sweet treats we've ever had, we are having a hard time freezing the top half of the cake because we just want to eat it!

Definitely recommend Lisa, she is so lovely and so talented!
