By Design Entertainment is a wedding DJ and MC service located in Atco, New Jersey. They have been providing a fun and romantic atmosphere for couples and their loved ones since 2002 in southern New Jersey. In addition to creating a day filled with music, By Design Entertainment also creates your desired ambiance with lighting during the reception.

Services Offered

By Design Entertainment aims to truly represent the personality of each couple in the music choices and MC style. They provide a variety of genres for you to choose from, based on on your interests. In order to get to know you and your music tastes, By Design Entertainment offers complimentary consultations. Each couple is different, so each set list is different as well. They also offer do-not-play lists to avoid any songs you dislike, and photo booth rental for your guests to enjoy throughout the night. The DJ/MC will take care to make any announcements you request, including your first steps into the reception as a married couple. They also provide all sound and lighting systems, microphones, projectors, and a flatscreen.

Wedding Reception 05.02.25

We had a great experience with Kris, who was always professional, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. He did a great job playing music that appealed to both the older and younger crowd, and kept everyone on the dance floor. Everyone loved the photobooth, and he even helped with our slideshow when plans changed last minute. Would definitely recommend

Great DJ! So much fun!

Kris knows what he’s doing! We had a GREAT experience with him! The app he uses is very easy to figure out. He reads the crowd, gets people involved, works with the photographers for photo opportunities… couldn’t have asked for better!

We love Kris & Heidi

Kris is AMAZINGGG!
He made everything so simple, easy, and fun!! My husband and I had so much stuff to worry about approaching the wedding day that we could not properly set a playlist but Kris took care of it and he did an incredible job. He got so many of our guests dancing and everyone had a blast. We also got the photo booth package and it was the BEST DECISION EVER!! Our guests LOVED it (even the older ones) and we have access to all of the photos online and they are priceless!! Heidi was in charge of the photo booth station and she was also the sweetest

Awesome DJ!

10/10 Would Recommend

Kris stepped in at the last minute to DJ our wedding when our original DJ unexpectedly quit just months before our wedding. I am here to say that we should have booked Kris from the beginning. He was entertaining, professional, and made us laugh during the centerpiece give away. Kris reads the crowd well and everyone loved the music, everyone danced for the entire reception up until the very last song. I highly recommend using Kris and his team if you are looking for high quality entertainment at a reasonable price.

One of the best decisions we made!

Kris from By Design Entertainment was by far the best DJ! Everyone at the wedding kept raving about how great he was! He definitely got the party going! It was so easy to work with him and I loved the convenient app that connected right to my Spotify so I could add all my songs and make my playlist super easily. The dance floor was packed all night! The wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him and I wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience

Kris is amazing! Booking him and working with him was so easy and simple. He crushed the introductions, went above and beyond with our uplighting, and kept the dance floor going all night. Highly recommend!

Hire Kris!

Kris is the EXACT person we were looking for in a DJ. From the very first email exchange, I had a feeling this would be our guy! We met Kris in person to make a final decision and it was a no brainer. Kris is funny, personable and very responsive. He made everything so easy for us. When the day came, he exceeded our expectations. He followed through on everything we asked for and he was active with our guests but did not overpower the evening. Everything was perfect.

Kris is extremely reasonable in price and we would hire him again in a second. Our guests are still talking about how great he was and how much fun he made the wedding.

Hire Kris, you will not be disappointed, I promise!!

Can’t have a party without any music!

Kris was awesome to work with! He is very organized and has a site that you just put all the information/song requests on so that things run smoothly!!! The photo booth was also a great hit and beSt price I’ve come across!

Fantastic DJ

Kris is the best. DJ skills are phenomenal. He had just about everyone who wouldn't normally dance out on the floor. He was fully aware and respectful of our time, helping us to pace the events we had planned smoothly. And he was very good at exciting the crowd and keeping spirits high with the choice of music and with his MCing abilities. I highly recommend By Design Entertainment for your wedding, or any event that would warrant a DJ.
