The Carriage House is a wedding venue in Galloway, New Jersey accommodating large-scale events and intimate gatherings. There is plenty of space for couples and their guests to hold personalized celebrations. Both indoor and outdoor event spaces are available, offering scenic views of the New Jersey countryside.

Facilities and Capacity

The Carriage House is defined by a range of distinctive architectural features, such as wraparound balconies and double-curved staircases. Inside, couples and their guests can gather around fireplaces and dance beneath crystal chandeliers. The venue is fitted with three different ballrooms for soon-to-be-weds to choose from. The Azalea Ballroom has French doors that open to an outdoor patio overlooking the gardens. The happy couple can exchange vows in an open-air garden ceremony before returning inside for the main event. Alternatively, the Magnolia Ballroom features crystal chandeliers and wall sconces, as well as layered silks and gossamer sheers to decorate the ceilings. Larger celebrations can be accommodated in the Grand Savannah Ballroom, which has a capacity for up to 350 guests. This spacious facility is characterized by two curving staircases and high-rise ceilings. Couples can follow the staircase to the second floor to find get-ready rooms for both sides of the wedding party. Each space is fully equipped with lounge furniture, full-length mirrors, and cosmetic lighting for the pre-wedding preparations.

The Carriage House - Galloway NJ

We recently celebrated our wedding and reception at The Carriage House, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience.
As you pull in, you’re greeted by a scenic pond with two grand fountains and a beautifully manicured, landscaped driveway that leads up to the valet station under the porte-cochère. Right from the start, the setting feels special and inviting, giving you a sense of elegance and anticipation.

Walking into the large foyer, you’re met with two grand curved staircases that make a bold and elegant statement. Guests were seamlessly directed to the coat check, where a 55” digital welcome sign pointed them to the Magnolia Room for our ceremony. This modern detail ensured that everyone felt comfortable navigating each stage of the celebration.

One of the standout features of The Carriage House is the availability of both a bridal and a groom’s suite. These spacious, private suites come complete with connecting outdoor balconies. This thoughtful design allowed us to remain separate before our first look, while still providing each of us with a comfortable and quiet space to prepare for the day.

Many venues overlook the importance of a groom’s suite, but The Carriage House excelled here. It gave our photographer, Myers Photo-Video Group, the opportunity to capture stunning moments as both wedding parties prepared. The balcony served as the perfect backdrop for our first look, which was captured beautifully.

Another major benefit is that everything—ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception—is housed indoors, under one roof. There was no need for our guests to venture outside for restrooms or other amenities, making the flow of the event seamless and weatherproof. Many venues don’t offer this level of convenience, but here, every detail was thoughtfully designed.

Our ceremony was elegant and simple, yet layered with meaning and detail. A 120’ curved white felt aisle runner added a polished and classic touch for our wedding party, including the flower girl and ring bearers.

One of the most unforgettable moments was when our tiniest ring bearer stole the show by driving down the aisle in a tiny white electric Audi convertible. It was a heartwarming moment that brought smiles and laughter to everyone in attendance.

We exchanged our vows beneath a modern yet traditional Chuppah, with the atmosphere elevated by the music of a classic trio—piano, acoustic guitar, and flute. Their performance brought a sense of serenity and joy, creating the perfect tone for the rest of the day.

Cocktail hour took place in the Azalea Room, located just to the right of the foyer and past our photo booth. The food selection was outstanding, with eight hot and cold hors d’oeuvres that delighted our guests. The tuna tartare and caprese skewers stood out, but the prime rib carving station and fresh pasta bar truly went above and beyond expectations.

The Mediterranean and fresh fruit boards were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, adding a decorative touch to the room. Meanwhile, our live music trio transitioned seamlessly to electric guitar, saxophone, and a freshly tuned Baby Grand Piano (provided by the venue), keeping the energy lively and engaging.

Sarah, our day-of coordinator, ensured a smooth transition into the transformed Grand Savannah Ballroom, which was ready to welcome us for our grand entrance.

With its 30’ high ceilings and spacious layout, the ballroom allowed us to fully customize our sound and lighting. We went all out with a suspended speaker system, an advanced lighting package, and dazzling 15’ cold sparklers to elevate the experience.

Dinner was exceptional. We both chose the Chicken Oscar with lump crabmeat, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the filet mignon. The late-night snack station, featuring egg and cheese sandwiches on soft rolls served with tater tots, was a huge hit. Each snack was sealed with our custom wedding branding sticker, adding a personal touch that our guests appreciated.

The bar staff, including three bartenders and the late-night station attendant, were quick, friendly, and accommodating. Every detail was handled flawlessly, ensuring our guests were well taken care of.

After dinner, the lights dimmed, and the party kicked into high gear.

Our reception was powered by The Renaissance Orchestra, Philadelphia’s premier wedding and event band. Their 11-member ensemble brought unmatched energy and professionalism to their performance.

From the rhythm section—keyboards, drums, bass, and guitar—to the big band sound of their horns, every element was on point. The four vocalists added incredible depth and variety, keeping the energy high throughout the night.

One of the most memorable moments was when the guitarist left the stage for a solo performance on the dance floor, surrounded by guests. This spontaneous energy kept the dance floor packed, and the enhanced lighting, multi-room uplighting, and cold sparklers made the experience visually stunning.

We also had a DJ stationed on the second-floor balcony overlooking the band. This elevated position, paired with uplighting, gave the space a nightclub-like vibe. The DJ kept the energy alive between sets, making sure the momentum never slowed.


The evening ended on a high note with a New Orleans-style send-off. The band led us out to our waiting limo with their mobile acoustic instruments, while our guests followed, creating a celebratory and unforgettable conclusion to the night. It was the perfect way to transition into the next chapter of our lives.

From a technical standpoint, The Carriage House is a dream venue for vendors. The loading dock is easy to access, the power supply is more than sufficient, and the 30’ ceilings provide endless opportunities for sound and special effects. We installed 102 lighting fixtures, a flown speaker array, and other elements with ease—all thanks to the venue’s thoughtful design.

The staff was equally impressive. Kristen, our main contact, was accommodating and patient, going above and beyond to meet every reasonable request. Sarah, our day-of coordinator, worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the timeline organized. Heather was always available during planning to adjust or clarify details. Nichol, Chloe, and the rest of the staff ensured that every detail was executed flawlessly.

The collaboration between Atlantic Media Productions, The Renaissance Orchestra, and STVP was outstanding. Atlantic Media’s expertise with lighting and sound transformed the space, while The Renaissance Orchestra delivered an unforgettable performance. STVP captured every moment beautifully, giving us memories to cherish for a lifetime.

The Carriage House is a first-class venue in every sense of the word. From its elegant design and thoughtful amenities to the dedicated staff and top-tier vendors, it was the perfect place for our wedding.

We look forward to hosting future celebrations here, knowing that they will deliver the same exceptional experience every time.

The most perfect wedding day!

If you’re looking for a perfectly executed and stress-free wedding day, look no further than The Carriage House! We first booked with them in 2018 for our May 2020 wedding, but like most other weddings planned in 2020, we had to reschedule due to the pandemic. While this is a stressful concept, Kristin and Megan made changing our date (and then changing it again) a smooth and easy process. After 3 years of planning, we finally had our dream wedding on May 28, 2021 and it could not have been a more amazing experience! Our guests could not stop raving about how gorgeous the venue was, how delicious the food was, and how attentive and wonderful that staff was. My husband and I agreed with all of these and more. Every detail that we planned was perfectly put in place when we arrived; all we had to do was enjoy ourselves (and we definitely did!). Maryetta, Sarah, and Yolo were so on top of things that we never had a worry all evening long, it was like they could read our minds and get us what we needed before we knew we needed it. Most brides talk about being stressed on their wedding day, but from the moment I woke up that day I was surprisingly calm because I knew the team had it covered. The whole night was seamless and perfect, and thanks to the CH team, we were able to enjoy every single moment of it! The Carriage House was absolutely the right choice!!

Words cannot even begin to describe how amazing the Carriage House was! We originally were getting married on 6/14/2020, postponed due to covid to September 2020 and finally got married on 5/16/21. The staff was easy to work with and always answered my emails. Our wedding day was just perfect! From the food to service to setting up the venue. Our guests are still ranting and raving over the food, how friendly the staff was and the overall atmosphere that the Carriage House displayed. My husband and I would very HIGHLY recommend The Carriage House to any couple looking to get married. Thank you again!

Everything was perfect!

This was the perfect place to have our reception! There aren’t words to express how thankful I am for the wonderful people at the Carriage House. They make planning and executing a wedding easy. We first met Halie for a tour in January 2020 and just KNEW this was the place we wanted to have our reception. We came for the venue itself…grand, absolutely stunning and gave the “Beauty and the Beast” vibe I was vying for, but we were most grateful for the amazing staff. (Yes, we booked prior to the pandemic, but did not have to postpone, just had to downsize a tiny bit). Megan, Maryetta, Halie and so many more were all vital to our reception being the most incredible night. Abby, my bridal attendant (an added bonus!), was fabulous and made sure I had everything I needed at all times. My guests keep telling me how amazing the food was; some of the best wedding dinners that they’ve had. Our band played from the second floor and sounded amazing throughout the large ballroom (not echo-ey or too loud). I could write pages on how wonderful everything was. From the first meeting, to menu picking, to selecting the tiny details…they did everything right and the night ran more smoothly than I could ever imagine. You will not regret having your reception here.

Awesome and stress free

They will work with you. So humble and nice people to work with. I would definitely book them again. And the most important part is that it a beautiful venue with multiple options. As anyone knows who is trying to put a wedding together that is key and a peace of mind.

Wedding Venue

Since the day we stepped foot into the Carriage house I knew we would be getting married there. We had a long planning time frame and the Carriage house's employees answered all my crazy questions two years out from our NYE wedding date. Leading up to the big day they did everything they could to make sure our big day was amazing and ran smoothly. The day of the wedding was anything short from amazing and could not have gone any better. Our guested loved everything about it and still talk about the food and the venue itself. 5 stars does not even begin to describe The Carriage House!!!

Best in the Biz - Trust them

I cannot write this review without happy tears. Warning, this review is a long one... Kristin, Megan and the staff went beyond my wildest dreams and delivered a dream wedding. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes. They are the best in the region for a reason! Their professionalism, ability to work with a budget (and respect it), being so pleasant with highly stressed brides and family - I cannot emphasize enough how easy and calm they made the whole process from start to finish. All of my guests are still raving about the quality, diversity, and amount of food served. The venue was meticulously clean and shining. The bridal captains and attendants were friendly, competent and wonderful. I would formulate a hint of a thought of needing something - and it was already in front of me. Kristin and Megan are true professionals and truly sincere human beings who listen to you. They have done it all and give great advice if you listen or ask. Kristin and Megan are super responsive via email - which always reassured me. They are adaptable and handle every hiccup or change in direction like champs. I cannot praise Kristin and Megan enough. You need to trust them with your wedding! The event ran on time thanks to their planning and advice. The Carriage House proved to me why it’s consistently the best through every interaction, with every person. Trust them with your wedding and you won’t be disappointed!

The Best Staff!!!

We could not have chosen a better venue with a more highly trained/competent/professional/and fun staff! All of my married friends told me they never got to eat at their wedding because they were so busy saying hi to people and taking pictures but I can honestly say I got to eat EVERYTHING I picked out because we had the most amazing bridal attendant team. Anytime I mentioned I wanted something out loud they got on their headset and someone was walking toward me with a drink/appetizer immediately. I’m not the only one who noticed, all of my friends jokes they were the CIA and they knew what I was thinking! The team packed up all of our food we were too stuffed to eat and gave it to us the next day along with all our other belongings they packed up and had waiting for us!
We seriously wish we could get married here again and hope to be guests at a wedding at the carriage house! The top things our friends complimented us on was the quality and amount of food/ they NEVER had to wait for a drink (some bartenders even memorized peoples drink orders and had them waiting when they walked up), and their professionalism. If you choose the carriage house, don’t waste your money on a wedding planner, they do EVERYTHING! We would recommend this venue to all couple looking to have the most flawless wedding day possible!

Incredible Experience!

My husband and I were blown away with The Carriage House from our first visit there, we knew after walking in and meeting the staff that this was the place we wanted to get married. The entire planning experience was made so easy and stress free for us, we felt taken care of the entire time especially the day of! Our guests are is still raving about how impressed they were by the food, staff, and venue overall! We would HIGHLY recommend The Carriage House!
