Facilities and Capacity
The Carriage House is defined by a range of distinctive architectural features, such as wraparound balconies and double-curved staircases. Inside, couples and their guests can gather around fireplaces and dance beneath crystal chandeliers. The venue is fitted with three different ballrooms for soon-to-be-weds to choose from. The Azalea Ballroom has French doors that open to an outdoor patio overlooking the gardens. The happy couple can exchange vows in an open-air garden ceremony before returning inside for the main event. Alternatively, the Magnolia Ballroom features crystal chandeliers and wall sconces, as well as layered silks and gossamer sheers to decorate the ceilings. Larger celebrations can be accommodated in the Grand Savannah Ballroom, which has a capacity for up to 350 guests. This spacious facility is characterized by two curving staircases and high-rise ceilings. Couples can follow the staircase to the second floor to find get-ready rooms for both sides of the wedding party. Each space is fully equipped with lounge furniture, full-length mirrors, and cosmetic lighting for the pre-wedding preparations.

The Carriage House is simply AMAZING!!! We held our wedding reception at their facility and we couldn't be happier with their services! They exceeded our expectations in every way! Not only is it a gorgeous venue, they run a flawless operation! Each member of the staff is both professional and personal. They make you feel special, as though you are their only priority. They respond to all calls, emails, and questions with impressive speed. The night of our reception our only concern was to enjoy ourselves because the dining manager and her team had everything under control. I will never forget the moment when I was about to be introduced for our first dance. A curl had fallen out of my hair and my bustle was so long I was tripping on it. Without hesitation, the dining manager called over her headset for a bobby pin and safety pin. Within moments, I was perfectly ready for the big introduction! Since the day we stepped foot into the Carriage house I knew we would be getting married there. We had a long planning time frame and the Carriage house's employees answered all my crazy questions two years out from our NYE wedding date. Leading up to the big day they did everything they could to make sure our big day was amazing and ran smoothly. The day of the wedding was anything short from amazing and could not have gone any better. Best in the Biz - Trust them
I cannot write this review without happy tears. Warning, this review is a long one... Kristin, Megan and the staff went beyond my wildest dreams and delivered a dream wedding. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes. They are the best in the region for a reason! Their professionalism, ability to work with a budget (and respect it), being so pleasant with highly stressed brides and family - I cannot emphasize enough how easy and calm they made the whole process from start to finish. All of my guests are still raving about the quality, diversity, and amount of food served. The venue was meticulously clean and shining. The bridal captains and attendants were friendly, competent and wonderful. I would formulate a hint of a thought of needing something - and it was already in front of me. Kristin and Megan are true professionals and truly sincere human beings who listen to you. They have done it all and give great advice if you listen or ask. Kristin and Megan are super responsive via email - which always reassured me. They are adaptable and handle every hiccup or change in direction like champs. I cannot praise Kristin and Megan enough. You need to trust them with your wedding! The event ran on time thanks to their planning and advice. Vice President of Sales and Catering
As the Vice President of Sales for Icon Hospitality, Kristin helps boost sales for ICON's properties, works with the sales team to meet goals and objectives, and gathers and implements new marketing ideas to sell The Carriage House. Kristin joined ICON in 2004 as a Customer Service Representative at Gourmet Italian Cuisine. In 2006, she was named Sales and Catering Manager for both Gourmet Italian Cuisine and The Carriage House, a position she held until she assumed her current position in 2010. Kristin's unique combination of education and experience, including a Communications degree from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, an educational program at Walt Disney World in Orlando, and her background in food and beverage sales and service allows her to help guests plan and execute outstanding events.
Halie was born in Philadelphia and moved to South Jersey where she now resides. She brings with her a vast amount of knowledge and experience. As the manager of a large Bridal Salon she performed all aspects of the business and gained much insight into the wedding industry. She exclusively produced 1/3 of the store’s sales while managing new and existing employees. Halie then moved on to become a National Casino Marketing Host responsible for enhancing the growth of gaming revenue through increased visitation and play consolidation of NCM players. Icon welcomes her as a Sales Associate for weddings and events. She is driven, confident and a dedicated employee and extremely passionate about her new career with Icon. She will assist Icon in booking events and weddings and providing our guests a world class experience.
Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, Icon Hospitality
As the Vice President and COO of ICON Hospitality, Megan oversees all of the day-to-day operations of the company. Megan has been in the food & beverage industry since her 2001 graduation from West Chester University. She began her career in event planning in 2004 at Sand Barrens Golf Club then continued her hospitality training in 2008 with the STARR Hospitality organization within the Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City. During her more than six years at the Chelsea, Megan was promoted from restaurant GM, then Event Planner, and finally Food & Beverage Director where she was responsible for overseeing all events as well as two restaurants and a nightclub. Megan then became Chief of Event Operations at The Carriage House and has recently been promoted to VP and CEO of Icon Hospitality. Megan's knowledge, positive attitude, and overall understanding of the industry has given her the skills and expertise to lead the staff, manage the facilities, and create outstanding experiences for every guest, every day.
Bright, airy, spacious, and beautiful are just some of the ways I would describe the photographic settings at The Carriage House. The hospitality of the staff and management is always first rate - I always feel welcome and at home! I have photographed dozens and dozens of events at The Carriage House and the venue never fails to provide me with ample opportunities to get creative in capturing more and more unique photographs of and for my couples. Whenever The Carriage House appears on my schedule for a weekend, I am assured of a smooth day full of wonderful photographs - it becomes an effortless evening! I always look forward to being there!
