Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the space was and how effortless the evening felt. We truly could not have imagined a more perfect place to begin our marriage. Smithville Inn, in my opinion, is probably on the pricier side of average for weddings, but I’d also say it was worth it. The venue itself is stunningly beautiful, you could honestly not add any extra decor and you’d still have a gorgeous wedding. The grounds are picturesque with greenery, lights, and an overall magical atmosphere. The entire village is beautiful and it has been one of my favorite places to visit all my life. The staff there were wonderful to work with, and the service during the actual day was spectacular. They took fantastic care of all my guests, and they made certain the groom and I were well fed and taken care of. They handled everything with incredible care and expertise. All the vendors I used had worked with them multiple times which helped make everything flow seamlessly. Best night of my life, I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

My family has held many events in the private room at Fred and Ethel’s, including my bridal shower. The food is great and they give you large buffet portions, the event space is large, the pricing is reasonable, and everyone who works there is super nice. I highly recommend booking Fred and Ethel’s for private events.
