I have been taking pictures for 30 years and love my job.  I enjoy getting to know my brides and their family and try my best to make their day the best it can be. I am married to Brian Abernathy, and have 2 boys, Josh and Seth, and a wonderful daughter in law, Rebecca, married to Josh. My work reflects the way that I see people. I want to be a part of the wedding as a family member, and not only a business partner. I consider my couples to be new friends that I can keep in touch with throughout their marriage. I do not do alot of advertising, as word of mouth has been my best tool. I have my own lab, and print all my pictures myself. I am a proud member of WPPI (Wedding Portrait Photographers International) and have a studio in my home of Stanley, NC. I will shoot all size weddings, based on budget and will work with you closely on giving you the best deal that will support your dream of a fairybook day. I will travel to destination weddings, and base the cost on travel expenses to get there.   I also have the ability to print save the date cards, as well as print , purchased bulk invitations, bought at local stores for personal printing. I have many ideas to help you in the planning, and will gladly work with you on payment plans for the balance.
