Additional Answers & Advice:

Should I hire a wedding planner or coordinator?

One of the greatest gifts that couples can give themselves for their wedding is services provided by a professional wedding planner. Even if only coordination services are purchased, as opposed to planning coordination services, a good wedding planner should provide couples the opportunity to not have to worry about the details and inner-workings of their weddings on their big day.  You should feel like guests at your own event!  Hiring someone to handle the details, to confirm deliveries and arrivals with other vendors, to create a timeline and "game plan" for the day, to field all questions and address any issues that may arise, and to essentially manage the entire wedding can be invaluable. This is especially true when couples want to completely enjoy their big day and do not want their family and/or friends to be working the event.

Taking this a step further, partial or full wedding planning services are definitely beneficial as well and can provide benefits such as introduction to other great vendors, someone to help monitor budgets, event design (in some instances depending on the consultant), planning timelines and checklists, and someone to monitor and manage all wedding details. Having a professional to assist you in navigating the wedding planning process from start to finish can help to ensure a cohesive, organized event while saving you time and stress.

What if I am not sure what level of services would be best for me?

We work closely with our brides to design and personalize wedding planning and coordination service packages. We believe that no two weddings are alike and, because of that, brides and grooms may find benefit in different service items. We can assist you in determining what level of services will work the best for you and with your budget.

Do you offer complimentary initial consultations?

Yes! We offer a complimentary coffee or tea consultation for all of the couples who contact us and are interested in wedding planning and/or coordination services.  We firmly believe that all couples should work with vendors that they trust and whom they feel comfortable with. A great relationship with our couples is of the upmost importance to us, and the first step in creating that is, of course, meeting and getting to know each other!
