"You may now kiss the bride" But how?!

Its funny that you ask this, because I've been thinking about this lately. When I kiss the FH i've been thinking, is this how i'd want it the day we get married? I think i want it in between, not just a peck like we barely know each other, but I don't want a big makeout session where people don't want to look! I think whatever comes natural will work!

FH and I haven't even talked about this. We will probably end doing a little open mouth kiss. No making out, just a sweet kiss that is a little more than a peck.

We haven't discussed this. I hadn't even thought of this until now. I guess I am thinking more close mouth, sweet small kiss

FH and I have joked about this. I think that we will be so nervous and excited that it doesn't even matter what we plan.

We kissed like we would in public. Closed mouth, not super long.

I threw my arms around his neck and gave him a big smooch...closed mouth lol

I was thinking about this too & we'll probably just do a 5 sec slightly opened mouth kiss but no tongue got to be respectful in front of guest lol as a guest, I would totally feel uncomfortable watching the bride & groom have a make-out session lol but during the reception I would sneak out H to take it all in & plant a good one on him ha ha!

And we kissed a few times, just closed-mouth, successively shorter kisses, until we felt it was time to step back and take a look at each other. It was the best part of the day...we wanted it to last.

Yes I suggest practicing..you get so caught up in the moment and really forget others are there lol. we kissed like mouth closed , DH lingered so I opened my mouth and he did his for a sec..people giggled lol It wasn't like sloppy just that it was prob a few more seconds than we had discussed with each other before. :-)

I have to be honest, when I can see the tongues darting back and forth that's just tacky.

FH and I have joked about this! He jokingly always says I'm going to plant a big one on you! i told him that we were not going to make out up there. That would just be embarrassing. I think closed mouth kind of in the middle between a peck and a make out session will be just fine.

Ermmm, closed moth, slightly longer than a peck so we can get pictures. Maybe a couple times like @Crystal (so cute, btw!).

The kiss is the one thing I am not allowing myself to think about. I want that moment to be organic. And to borrow a bit from The Princess Diaries (love that movie), I want my foot to pop. Of course, that happens fairly often so I don't need to worry.

We're not particularly in to a lot of PDA lol so to see us kiss at all people will be happy. I think we'll be like @Aidan and just let hit happen however its gonna happen

Everyone told us that it was the embrace after the kiss that made everyone cry... we did a closed mouth short kiss but then a great big hug and I melted in to his arms

Knowing us, it'll probably be an open mouth kiss...probably short because we'll start smiling and laughing and then he'll pick me up!

I personally don't like being at weddings and seeing a small peck. It always looks like the couple is not in love.

Like others, we are doing a closed but lingered kiss. No making out, I think it's a littl TMI for weddings atleast. But then again I plan to pull him into a few corners when noones looking & get some tongue action lmao

I did tell FH I would love to do the kiss & dip thing, he's only done it once & since then I've gained weight, so has he, so I've been afraid he cant hold me or will bend too far. He got cute, said let's test it, did it well. I think the key is you dont have to go so far to the ground, just a small dip will get the audience applausing I think.

We practiced before wedding. LOL. But on the day it was a sweet tender kiss. I think it was like 1 long one followed by two short ones.
