I am getting married on a Thursday (Valentine’s Day, our 4th anniversary), in a destination. Our reception, in our hometown, is the following Sunday. So, both??

I would rather get married on a Sunday. That way I get to spend more time with my girls and family before the wedding, then my FH and I go off to our honeymoon.

Definetly Thursday. It's cheaper and me and FH plus guests can put in for a long weekend at work. Sunday is like the unspoken family day for most people and/or religious obligations

A Sunday. While I'd hope our friends and family could take off work, or leave early and get to our city on time, it's not feasible for most.

I rather get married on a Sunday that way a can plan a whole weekend for the people that are coming out of town and my family and his can get to know each h other better before the wedding.

I would pick Sunday, I originally was having to pick between Friday and Sunday but then I found my perfect venue which I could afford to have a Saturday wedding there.
