Fridays and Saturdays are popular days for weddings, but if you had to... Would you rather get married on a Thursday or a Sunday? Next question: Would you rather... cut the shower or the bach party?

Lol, I like the frankness there, Rachael! How did you decide on a Thursday?

Sunday...a little more accommodating for guests but would definitely have to be between church hours. I highly doubt our preacher will give up a Sunday worship service for anything.
I've gone to a wedding on Sunday and it ended so early. I think I'd go for Thursday. It's easier to get a Friday off than Monday

I'm getting married on a Sunday... but I LOVE Thursdays! I was born on a Thursday and then there's that Alicia Keys song I love "You don't know my name" that goes:
"Oh, baby, baby, baby
I see us on our first date Doing everything that makes me smile When we had our first kiss It happened on a Thursday Ooh it set my soul on fire"
I got married last Sunday, and it was perfect for me. If you want a good turn out, you have to at least consider the day. Saturday is too expensive, Sunday would be the best day for me.
I'd go with Sunday, because even though the Monday will suck for people who drink too much, at least they won't have to take two days off (one for wedding, one for recoup).

Sunday if I had to choose one of the two... however I was very set on a Saturday wedding as I wanted a late night party with as many people as possible.
If I had to choose one, it would be Thursday, I know a venue would be much cheaper. I wouldn't pick Sunday, bc all the wedding party would be hung over for work on Monday.
