Would you rather... get married on a Thursday or a Sunday?

Fridays and Saturdays are popular days for weddings, but if you had to... Would you rather get married on a Thursday or a Sunday? Next question: Would you rather... cut the shower or the bach party?

I’d rather get married on a Thursday. Then make a long weekend to spend with family.

We originally planned on a Sunday wedding but went for a Saturday Brunch instead. So Sunday!

Most of my family is out of state, so if we got married on Thursday, most would stay through the weekend. We are actually getting married on a Saturday, in Florida. The family who plans to be there are making a vacation out of it.

Sunday for sure. People may leave the reception early because of work the next day, but at least everyone who works a M-F schedule would already be off work.

Well it came down to a couple things...but mostly because It's Columbus day weekend so the Sunday evening reception was priced as a Saturday. Plus, we're having a day time wedding so thought since it's a long weekend, people who attend the wedding could make other plans if they wanted to! and the Brunch option because I love Brunch! haha

Sunday. Thursdays are almost always the worst day of the week for us, I wouldn't want those bad vibes at our wedding.

Sunday! Then I could have a nice morning wedding, and afternoon reception and everyone could get home early for work the next day.

Cost was definitely a huge factor, as we wanted to put less money into the actual ceremony, and more into our honeymoon and life after just that one day. Weekends are typically more expensive
