Well when I turned around after he proposed all of our parents (minus his dad and his wife) and our siblings were there so technically they were first but then I called my best friend and now maid of honor.

Told the kids.

Well she proposed at a Con at our charity costuming group's table in front of a bunch of our friends so technically they were first. But we both texted our parents right after (cause it was LOUD in the convention center so they wouldnt have been able to hear us if we called.)

My sister. It was 3:30am in Mexico when it happened, so we had to wait until people woke up back home to tell them. My sister was the first one up for work at 5am, so she was the lucky one who found out first.

We video called my parents then his. Mine knew it was coming bc he sent mom a pic of the ring the night before. They had given him one of my grandpas diamonds to put in my ring so he was showing it off to them lol

MY MOM, and dad kinda (but he already knew)!!!! Then FH told his aunt, uncle and mom.

My mom and siblings knew first..before me and then my best friend, another friend and his parents.
My mom and siblings knew because he had asked their permission the day of the proposal. My best friend and friend knew because it was the day of our 8 year anniversary and I had told them to bug him about when’s a ring coming. And then his parents knew because well it was his moms ring lol

Our best friends who are married to each other were the first people to get the call but my SIL knew about the proposal - no one else.

Well we were in Montana at Glacier Nat'l Park, sooooo truthfully our friends that were there with us saw it happen, but as soon as I could get wifi that evening back at the lobby of the place we were staying, I messaged my parents, siblings and best friend
