It was in Universal Orlando in front of Hogwarts - my parents, aunt and uncle, brother and FSIL (the got engaged 5 months later in front of Cinderella's castle).

That is a sweet story OP! We got engaged at a botanical garden near Chicago in late November 2016. The garden was completely decorated with Christmas lights. At the end of the walk he insisted that we sit on a bench to watch the lights, that is when he took out the ring and proposed. For me it was perfect.

FH proposed in our apartment before leaving for a nice dinner date lol nothing over the top but it fits our introvert personalities..I would have been so embarrassed if it was in public

FH and I were traveling through Europe together and he asked me to dress up to celebrate the festival of music one night. We were walking through the city, and he brought me to the Eiffel Tower. He proposed there! He even had a professional photographer capture the moment!!!

My FH proposes at a lighthouse a few hours away, he was supposed to be at a meeting in north florida and I went for work to Miami. A went with some clients to a beautiful lighthouse and there he was with all my family! (My clients were in on the plan) it was such a surprise!

Like OP, we were on our first blended vacation with FH's 3 kids and my 1. We were in Gatlinburg, TN and he proposed on the 4th of July 2016. He had had the ring since March. I was totally shocked. We are getting married in Gatlinburg a week from today.

We got engaged on a sleigh ride a week before Christmas.

It was supposed to be Christmas eve but he couldn't wait so he did it as soon as he got it. It was on my dining room floor while opening Christmas gifts (We always do it early). He had it tied on my gift & I never saw it. Lol. He actually had to point it out to me
