We got engaged at the Boston Public Gardens in front of the swan pond before having dinner with both of our parents (mine came up from NY to surprise me!)

At the Jewel Box in St. Louis. He was originally going to propose at the Arch, but because of various wacky snafus we ended up at the greenhouse -- 100 feet from a wedding reception! Thankfully they didn't even notice us

I was at home...in my Santa pants in the middle of March... I told everyone if they took a picture of me they would die...lol

He took me on a weekend getaway to Park City (a gorgeous mountain resort area here in Utah) we went for our 4 year anniversary. After dinner he took me to a cute little park, walked us over to a little river and proposed right there, he had his mom and brother come up earlier to hide and take pictures of the moment. It was absolutely wonderful!

He proposed in Disney World in front of the castle! It was so perfect!

At home lol, it was a townhome we had just moved into. So intimate I loved it !

Sunset Cliffs San Diego, Ca

We got engaged at the DC tidal basin. He's from DC so he always dreamed of doing that. It was the most gorgeous day. He handed his phone to a guy that was taking pictures of the cherry blossoms and I thought we were being photographed but he actually had it set to video and recorded it! It was a magical day and we had a cherry blossom theme at our wedding! Here's the engagement photos we took!

We were on vacation in Seattle between Christmas and New Year's last year. We went to Leavenworth for the day and night and it was the most magical day. It snowed the whole bus ride there and the whole day and night. We're from south Louisiana where it rarely snows so this was a special treat for us. We sledded and played in the snow into the evening and went to our room to warm up. After it got dark and most of the people had cleared away, he asked me if I wanted to go for a walk and look at the lights with him. It was still snowing and the town was still decorated for Christmas and it was like something out of a movie and I even said so. I took a picture and turned around and he was down on one knee, in the snow, and asked me to marry him. I cried and we ended up kissing and laughing in the snow. One of the best days of my life.

FH and I take a vacation to a new city every year for our anniversary. We had been dating 3 years and went to Asheville NC to celebrate. Had dinner at the Biltmore Estate and went back to our airbnb to exchange gifts and that's when he proposed. He was extremely nervous but it was cute and I'll always remember every detail.

FH took me on a surprise trip to Europe! We were in Greece for about 5 days, a handful being in Santorini where he popped the question! He hired a photographer for it and then we had him for an hour afterwards to go around and take engagement pictures! It was incredible!!!

In my bedroom, 5 minutes after it was officially my birthday.

It was supposed to be at my birthday dinner, but he was too excited and nervous to wait.

My mom knew the whole time, treated me to a manicure and pedicure the day before my birthday, telling me it was a birthday gift. My nail tech knew (should have known something was up when both were arguing with me about my choice of nail color and nail design.)

Turned out, everyone knew this was happening except me, FBIL and FSIL, especially when we stopped in at his job and people who didn't even have social media were asking to see the ring.

In the hospital, the day after I gave birth. He went down on one knee beside the gross hospital bed.

And I couldn't even really celebrate because moving made my episiotomy hurt.
