Where did you get engaged

He proposed to me at the botanical gardens in Brooklyn, NY. It was the sweetest moment! The moment I turned around and saw him down on one knee. I don't have any photos of him proposing but it was a very nice and intimate moment for just us . Here's a photo we took after he proposed.

funny part was I was so obsessed with eating desert that I didn't see the writing right away!

I love reading all of these stories. They're so unique~ I took my fiancée to a park where there were replicas of famous places around the world. Like a 1:4 size Eiffel Tower. I proposed under it and then we took a trip around the rest of the world, haha. I bought her ring earlier in the day and then carried it around because we didn't go home. She had no idea I planned ahead to do it that day.

Then she did the same to me when we were on vacation. We picked out my ring together, while on vacation. It was in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China. This place was somewhere I always wanted to go but never thought I'd make it. So my fiancée bought my engagement ring there and then proposed to me on a park surrounded by beach on three sides. Beautiful place. We went back and took our engagement photos there, like the one I use for my profile pic. I'll post a picture from down on the rocks, but my phone doesn't let me post pictures and text at the same time.

He popped the question in Chicago while I along with a bunch of our friends were there to run the Chicago Marathon. We went on a boat tour of the city and asked someone to take a picture of us all. He turned around (so now his back is facing the guy taking the pic) and now I'm confused. He got down on one knee and just asked. I didn't think he was serious. He's a kidder. We're the couple to the right. My friends were in on it.

Flew to the Outerbanks in NC at the Wright Brothers Memorial...because we love and live all things airplanes!

We were at a little park in Philadelphia, where we had one of our first adventures! Then we went to a rooftop bar in philly that night with friends. It was perfect!

We got engaged at the Grand Canyon on a Christmas trip to AZ where his parents have a place. He started saying all this sweet stuff about our life and future and how happy he was, and I didn't have a clue since he says things like that all the time. It was just the two of us and all of a sudden he got down on one knee and popped the question. I don't think I even let him finish asking before I said yes! Then we asked a random passerby to take this pic. Pretty good backdrop!

My FH proposed to me in South Africa after a safari and romantic dinner. We were there for 2 weeks both for business and vacation. It was a wonderful trip, we are contemplating going back for our honeymoon!!

My DH and I were having family over for Christmas. We decided to do a group shot and he had me in the front next to my grandchildren. I was busy talking to one of them when I notice that he is now kneeling on my right side. So we got the family in the photo with him proposing to me!
