When did you start buying 'things'?!

So our wedding is in October and I am anxious to starting buying ‘things’! How far out did you buy your bridal party/parents gifts, your guest book, reception items (toasting flutes/cake cutting set) and all your other wedding days ‘things’? I’m not sure why I am hesitating, but something is keeping...

I’m not sure why I am hesitating, but something is keeping me from hitting the checkout button!

Yes we still have time but I don't want to wait too long. Especially don't want to pay rush shipping if I don't need to!

Thanks! My MOH is in a different state so I'm pretty much flying solo with her being my only bridal party member.

I'm getting married in June and I honestly haven't bought any of those things! 😬 I just keep putting them off because the things I find just don't seem quite right and aren't exactly what I want.

I'm getting married next year and I have the flower girl tote bag, ring pillow, pen & guest book, my dress.

The biggest issue I'm going to most likely have is my dress. I'm losing weight and I just might have to buy a new dress.

I’m getting married in October and we started buying this past fall since we’re using so much fall decor and we scored such great deals.

I started buying things about a year ago here and there almost done thank goodness. You don’t realize how much stuff you may need so its best to start as early as possible so you don’t leave out anything.

Not sure what you mean by things but for us we wanted to have as much of a stress free wedding as possible. Our wedding is May of 2021. I got engaged July 2019. We booked our venue October 2019 and it's all inclusive except for a couple of things we wanted. Photographer booked on December 2019. Floral appt done December 2019 even though flower arrangements are part of the package not everything was included that's why I had the appt. I paid extra for what i wanted but it's done. Donut station booked January 2020. Looked and found my wedding dress (yes I cried) January 2019. Bought my shoes, viel, jewelry, memorial pin, wedding bra, wedding favors all this month. I'm way ahead of the game and I plan on having everything done within 6 months before the wedding with the exception of rehearsals, wedding cake, and sending invitations and then chart seating.
