When did it sink in that you are getting married?

I still haven't had my moment. I've had inklings, but it's still unbeleivable to me.

I'm pretty sure it will hit me as I'm standing outside the doors getting ready to walk down the aisle!

Four days ago when I got the call from the dress boutique that my wedding dress had just arrived and is ready for pick up.

For me, the night before..and then it hit me hard the day of, when i started getting ready, on my way to the court house and standing in front of DH saying our vows lol.

It hasnt hit me yet i feel like im going to wake up and its all going to be a dream

I go through phases. Like when we booked the venue it was like holy crap this is real! and then planning stopped for a bit and it became like a fantasy again and then we booked the next thing and it happened again. Most recently I bought the dress and its hanging up at home and when I look at that bag its like wow...

The plan for FH and I are to (in order):

1. sell his house (he moved into my house last winter)

2. get married

3. sell my house

4. buy a house together

After being on the market for quite awhile, FH is finally closing on his house on Oct 31. Everything is feeling more real now that we are checking things off the above list.

About one month after the wedding

It hit me when we booked the venue and then it left ..then came back once we booked everything else and i started making all my DIY stuff..now since everything is made and i have my dress we're just making payments it's really not bothering me...but it probably will once the bridal party and rehearsal come..lol

It hit me in little bits at a time when we would accomplish big things (ie. marriage licence, booking hall, buying dress, etc) but mostly it came on in big waves at the rehearsal dinner and the morning of.

It still hasn't sunk in that I am a wife.

I feel like it hit me in little bits here and there but it didn't REALLY sink in until right after we were announced as husband and wife. We walked back up the aisle and I gave him a big hug and kiss and then it hit me - OMG we're married!!

Today....

46 days to go and starting to freak out a bit. lol

It hit me in the limo ride to the church. I just kept saying to my bridesmaids, "omg you guys, I'm getting married!" (and trust me, I don't usually sound like I'm straight out of Legally Blonde).

It hit me again when we opened our joint checking account after we go married. And when we came back from our HM and were getting ready for work in the morning ( we didn't live together before the wedding so we had a little adjusting to get our morning routine irked out).

It hit me hard the day of that running around that morning thinking of every step i take towards the alter and when i walked to the alse it smacked me dead in the face and i started crying because i was sooo happy.

It's still sinking in for us!

Every time H says the word "wife" he says it with a fake accent like he's Borat. I think on some level we both feel like kids playing dressup in grownup clothes. Maybe when the baby's born.

It still really hasn't sunk in that I'm married but I think that is good. The wedding felt more like a dream than something that was actually happening. When my DH & I were on our honeymoon, it felt like every other trip we've ever taken, just a trip with my best friend and not something out of the ordinary. My name is changed and its official but it just doesn't feel like much is changed.

The day I walked into my parent's house and saw their living room covered with decorations......I had a mini moment.

It hit me really hard this week. I went and picked up our marriage license yesterday. So far everything has just been fun and since I am almost completely done with everything I just sit here thinking OMG I am getting married. Now I am getting nervous!

I want it to hit me! Im so excited for the Wedding Bug!
