My FI & I are currently saving for our wedding & a down payment on a home. Next year our main focus will be the down payment on our home (since we'll be done saving for the wedding). We also plan to do quite a bit of traveling over the next couple years. Eventually we will also have babies (1 or 2), but we want to wait 5-7 years for that.

How about you?

The first goal would be me graduating from college. When we get married I will have a little under a year left(I am actually getting married a weekend between school weeks...LOL)..Then get our own place and start making babies!!!!

FH starts school a couple weeks after we get married, so that will occupy him for 2 years. They are suppose to start building our house soon, so that will probably be done in October (hopefully) and then we get to move in.

After he is done school, it's baby making time and just enjoying married life.

We are planning on buying a house! We already have a family realtor so talking to him about the next step is exciting but scary at the same time.

I have always dreamed of having my own house.. And at 39 Its happening!

(my dad was military and so was my ex)

    I cannot wait!!

We saved all the money for our wedding back in September so that while we were planning our wedding the money we saved now would be towards a downpayment for a house. So hopefully after the wedding in August we can continue to focus on savings for a few more months and begin the house hunt in Dec/Jan.....can't wait!!

Immediate plans is the honeymoon in June. After that, summer activities for my son as well as family trips. Hopefully within the next year or so, we will be upgrading to a bigger townhome and then start a family. We both agreed that we don't want a house right now because of cost and I am super picky on what I want in a house and if we have to pick a home, we rather have the home as home to stay for good instead of moving a few years later.

We plan on moving to VA with my parents until we can afford to buy a house. We are fresh out of college and are hoping to be able to get better jobs in our fields in that area. Hopefully we are only with my parents for a year before we move and then we are planning to start trying for a baby. We keep debating starting a family earlier but I want a little time in our own place just us to get settled first, but I guess we shall see lol

We're both planning on finishing school. We are hoping to have a house by the end of the year. We want to have a baby but we both understand the importance of being secure first. So hopefully we'll start trying next year. :]

FH and I are planning to put a down payment on a home after the wedding. The thing we have to consider is where the house will be. We currently live in NYC, so we have the option of Long Island, but we both want to raise kids in the south....North Carolina to be exact.

We both have to finish school. I'll almost be finished with graduate school to become a Therapist and FH is currently a teacher but is going back for his PHD to become a Professor.

We've talked about kids. He'd like to get the ball rolling maybe 3 years after our marriage. By then I'll be 28, he 33, although sometimes I want a kid now ( I was actually in the infant section of Target pricing breats pumps and strollers for 15 minutes until FH dragged me out..lol) so we'll see!

Deciding where to live. Toronto is way overpriced and its become too difficult to keep a good standard of living here. I want to move to the UK, but my FH seems to want to stay in Canada to be close to his family.

We already have the house and kids lol. We'll just be carrying on with life as usual after our wedding. We've basically been married for 7yrs, we just didn't have the rings, the title, or the paper.
