B) the Add on Section comes to another 4.1K +tax and includes:

- bartender(s), barware rental,

- flowers: bridal bouquets, boutineers, corsages, throw-away bouquet

- fun cupcake wedding cake with traditional top tier, and presentation stand,

- officient for ceremony,

- DJ,

- rentals: sound equipment, projector, screen rentals,

- hors d'oeuvres: butler passed.

WOW! I dont know what area you live in but to me that seems high!

It seems like the things you get in the package are really random. Why do you need a suite and 3 course brunch for 6 guests?

Is any of this negotiable? I think you could do alot of this yourself to cut back on the cost.

Kimber- I am going to ask about that because I just can't see why it's THAT expensive for the core package..like holy crap!

They are basing it off the average cost of a wedding $25k and thinking it is a steal because it is just below that price. Honestly, If this place is a MUST for you and your FH, I would really talk them out of most of those items.

It does seem a little high but it really depends on where you live. From what it seems, this is a very "all inclusive" place, and I feel like the all inclusive venues can be more expensive.

It seems really high, but it seems like you get a lot. Definitley see if you can customize it and save some $$

EEK, I can get an all inclusive wedding at a winery venue for $10k and I've been trying to talk them down with that. It even comes with a candy bar fully loaded and an open bar (we just have to bring the booze)

Sadly I don't think that's THAT high (depending on where you're located and prices around there).....all comes down to location...

It pretty, It says they're willing to make a package that suits your budget so maybe you could work something out

I'm in Boston and that's not that high around here. Certainly you could find cheaper but we also have plenty of places that would cost even more.

Honestly, if I could get all of that for under $20K I'd be thrilled!!!

I'm not sure what your budget is but if it is not WAY too high you may want to mention that their website states they can work to a wide range of budgets and you were looking to spend approximately $X. See if you can change the menu a little or not include some of the extra fancy decor that isn't necessary.

Shannon-I've asked them to exclude all of the "finishing touch rental items" and the 6 guests accommodations/gourmet brunch. I doubt it will be go down that much but worth a shot!

Maggie- The other section is another 4k so it's going to be about 22k and I am pretty sure that not including tax or gratuities...oye!

Yeah I dont think that is high at all. But its all relative on where you live. But from what I hear Canada in general is pretty pricey..
