This was definitely a splurge for us! It was love at first sight, so we couldn't say no.

Save. We love the space we got and we got it for both the rehearsal and ceremony for way less than what most venues cost for just the day of.

Save! We got a community center for 10 hours for only $275. We're having the wedding there to. It's affordable and sentimental. We actually met there at a dance

A 1000% splurge for me! Since I had so many out of town guests coming in I wanted it to be a super memorable location and experience.

    SPLURGE.

Our venue was food and drink inclusive, so it was important we picked a good one. We managed to pick one that was cheaper for NYC, but... in the scheme of things, it was 2/3rds of our budget.

Worth it for the view alone! Luckily, the food was great, and we got an open bar, too.

We went with our 2nd choice to save money. We're still over budget but it's better than it would have been

We 100% splurged. However, our venue is practically all-inclusive, barring the alcohol and flowers

Moderate splurge? it is definitely not the cheapest but worth every penny for waterfront views and exceptional staff

We are splurging on our venue because they are providing us with just about everything we need for our wedding from catering to decorations

Save. I really wanted to splurge on the venue, but I realized I much rather not spend more than I really should, as my FH and I want to purchase a house within the next few years. Ours is definitely VERY fairly priced for what it offers. My one qualm about it is that there is absolutely no outdoor space.

Splurge, although it’s around the same price of all the venues we looked at, we still could of gone a cheaper route.

Save! You do not have to pay a lot of money. There are tons of beautiful and affordable venue's. We had our wedding reception at our local fire hall.

We chose a really nice venue, that otherwise would have cost an arm and a leg, but got a good deal on it due to signing up for the "intimate package." This has been a money saver, but has also really restricted our guest list. That part has stung a little more than we thought it would, but has also saved us a lot of stress with everything that came included in it. (I.e. Cake, catering, wedding planner, venue set up/tear down, honeymoon destination, and hotel for our guests all included!)

We totally saved with the venue! We luckily know the venue fairly well because of a Renn Faire we attend and were part of there for a while. We are having both the wedding and reception there.

Splurge. Our venue is amazing and was our top choice. That being said, we think it is very reasonably priced and we are not paying a fortune for it.
