Vendor Recommendations: Modern or Traditional?

Both! I use wedding wire of course and reviews are very important! I’ve also asked around a lot, especially my friends who are in the wedding business, such as my future sister in law.

Modern. Technically I found my venue tho through word of mouth (my boss recommended it since her daughter will be getting married there a few months after me), but we did a lot of research on it after she recommended it and looked at reviews

Modern, we have done everything pretty much online searches, however some of the vendors we looked at we did find at wedding shows.

Traditionally modern.
I didnt use any sort of site to find my vendors.
But I did choose many of them due to seeing photos on their social media pages.

A bit of both! Found our venue and makeup artist through word of mouth but so far everything else online and reading reviews on weddingwire, the knot, and google reviews.

I guess both. Some were via internet, some were from bridal shows we attended and some were from just seeing local businesses in out area. I tried word of mouth but was not impressed.

About 50/50. My venue was online. Others vendors Im going to investigate based on word of mouth

Modern. We saw one venue that was told to us, but that is where his mom and step-father got married. It was nice, but I much prefer the ones I reasearched by myself.

Both! My DJ photobooth person was both a recommendation and I happened across his ad at the same time

Modern, we searched everything online and are planning everything online and via phone calls since we live in a different state.

Our ceremony will be at my church, so I guess that's more traditional lol

I did ask for input regarding our reception venue. I've heard of it, but never attended an event there, so I wasn't sure how the food was. The place itself did look really nice and the manager is nice

No one I know in Colorado has gotten married, so I'm doing my vender searching online and going off of reviews.

I’m not having many vendors. Friends/family are doing food and flowers. My hair person has been a friend since high school and I started going to her myself last summer. I guess the one that I really had to look for was photographer. I did use online searches but I also felt comfortable trusting her because I realized a few of my friends/acquaintances had used her for portraits.
