Oo buyers remorse. I think it looks lovely. What part of the dress are you having second thoughts about?

I just think it will be too plain. We are getting married outdoors by a lake and i didnt want anything to heavy or big..

I rushed into a dress too and it did not have a happy ending. Go look at more dresses so that you can be sure because you will always have doubts otherwise

I like Ebony's idea. I think the dress looks very whimsical Light & flowy - perfect for the outdoor lake ceremony. But you don't want to be second guessing it on your wedding day. If you can't stop thinking about the dress while your dress shopping you'll know it's 'the one'.

Looking around could definitely make you more sure about your decision... i do not think this is plain it all... it is elegant and sophisticated -- the flowy layers are ethereal.

i read this amazing quote by vera wang about bridal style -- which i LOVE

A woman engaged, about to embark on her search for the perfect wedding dress, can easily stray into madness. Amidst all the choices, it takes a bride with a great deal of confidence and discipline to look minimal at her celebration. Minimalists, as I call these brides, understand that a clean design with no excess is far from simple; rather, it requires a certain complexity of design, detail and vision to pull off. Your convictions will be tested as it is far easier to add than to edit, but if you follow your convictions, the fashion statement will be subtle but immensely powerful.

Oh i think it is beautiful for an outdoor wedding! I went with a simpler dress of two choices, b/c I didn't want to look/feel ridiculous!

"If you can't stop thinking about the dress while your dress shopping you'll know it's 'the one'. "

True!! I found myself comparing all other dresses to the one I ended up buying. "Well, this one is beautiful but..." And I kept looking at the picture of myself in my favorite so I went and bought it. Although even still I look at websites (for BM dresses but still glance at the bridal gowns) and think "Maybe I should have tried something on from this designer, this is beautiful!" I'm sure there are plenty of dresses that could be "the one", but I'm sticking with this one!

I think your dress looks beautiful, but if you're not sure and you have the ability to get another one then might as well at least try some other things on, and see if you still like your first pick best.

Its pretty but too plain for my tastes- but thats just me. Maybe you could add to it to make it what you want? Maybe some accessorizing will give you the feel you were looking for?

I think it is perfect for an oustides wedding ceremony. I don't think it is plain at all. I think it is simply elegant.

I think unless you are willing to buy another dress, I wouldn't go shopping again. If you are willing to buy another, than go for it.

The first dress I liked, I kept comparing it to all others. Until I tried on the one that I finally chose. then I compared that to all others. I had my girlfriends take pictures of me in both gowns and you can tell I just beamed with the dress I picked. I didn't even realize it until we looked at me in both dresses.

I think it is a lovely dress and looks wonderful on you! It would be perfect for the venue you describe.

I'm the queen of dress dilemmas and am now trying to sell one on Recycled Bride and Once Wed. I felt almost immediate regret, even though I didn't rush into the decision by any means. I thought it was the one, but couldn't stop looking at other dresses as it was just missing something. I ultimately ended up with a gown that I am totally in love with and can't wait to wear! THAT is the feeling you should have. : )

I wish you the best! I know how difficult it is...

You have time... Go shopping and try on as many dresses as it takes. This dress is beautiful, but if you're second guessing...then it might not be the one.

I tihnk it's a beautiful dress befitting of a lake wedding Smiley smile If you wanted to spice it up and make it less plain, you could take off the bling, add a colored sash and add the bling back on top of the sash so it "pops"? Also, adding a veil would help you see the "final" product and may convince you otherwise.

If that doesn't work or you don't want to try, keep looking, put your dress up for sale on recycled bride or craigslist and see if you find another dream dress Smiley smile

You have the option of having two separate dresses. I purchased mine from dhgate.com it was only $140 it saved me $900. The material is a little cheaper but I don't think anyone of the guests will know.
