    FH just left to get me donuts while I lay in bed working from home. It's a good day. Second interview for a new job is in 2 days so it's hard to focus on my current one.

    @alyssa : I don't blame you. A relaxing honeymoon is popular for a reason (because it's awesome!!!)

    @jo : sorry about your car Smiley sad

    Futureford- that looks delicious!

    Chantel- hooray for wedding weekend! how exciting!

    has anyone been reading the "reception and wedding at different times"? This girl is killing me that she can't grasp that the reception is the party.

    I want to make one of these now. Taco cake. With real tacos on the side to prevent disappointment.

    Random question to insert:

    My 15 y/o cousin is a bridesmaid. She gets bullied a lot (truly bullied in the full sense of the word) and has a lot of growth issues. She's been through so much already and somehow still has an amazing sassy, fierce attitude. Our shower is on her actual birthday and I really want to do something special for her. Any ideas of an awesome gift or something fun to give her? My aunt said she loves Ulta and Target clothes but it's been 15 years since I shopped for a 15 y/o so I'm clueless!

    @Jaci - I haven't tried it either yet. But my wife did laugh at me when I sent the recipe to our email with the title "Food Pie!"

    @Sass - Maybe take her to Ulta before the shower so she can get all glammed up?

    Sass, my 13 year old SD DIES for Ulta make up. She got one of those Ulta collections (with tons of different colors of eyeshadow, blush, etc) for Christmas and was so excited. For clothes, she likes to pic out her own, so maybe a Target giftcard?

    @MrsSasswood2016 : I'm pretty sure flawless makeup is very popular right now among high-school girls. (Why didn't they have so many youtube how-tos to save me from my terrible high school raccoon eyes!) Maybe take her somewhere to get a make-up lesson and get her some new high in makeup. Like Sephora? Clothing is hard... I would take her on a mini-shopping spree with her there to give input or gift cards.

    @Sasswood my niece is that age and LOVES makeup...I've slowly started introducing her to the good stuff. Depending on what she's into from Ulta, you would make her day if you got her some makeup. Eyeshadow is usually a safe bet (but can also be hard if you don't know what she may already have). Any of the Urban Decay Naked palettes are a good start for that age group. Any of the Too Faced Choc Bar ones are fun too (for adults AND teens) both because they smell awesome and have wide color range to play with. Gift cards are safe bet, though it may feel like a cop out, because she can go have her own little shopping spree.

    Lara, I'll need to check that out! I think she would faint lol. I love the gift card thing too, maybe with some other goodies mixed in.

    Devon, I told my hostesses that I want to make sure my BM's birthday is acknowledged so I'm pretty sure they're doing something like that. My mom knows I'd like for there to be a cake/cupcake for her that suits her personality!

    ETA I love the makeover idea too!! She would love that, I think. A girls' day plus some awesome "swag" lol. Thanks everyone!

    Buy her a real palette- like the new Alice and Wonderland palette from Urban Decay- something that's limited edition from a high end brand. Skip the "5 million colors" palettes from Ulta itself.

    I'd say go get her face done if you can for the shower- and wander around discussing palettes and she'll probably mention which one she wants or is lusting over- us make up junkies can't help ourselves!!!
