Chantel

Chantel grew up in an area West of Edmonton. Jason grew up in an area East of Edmonton. They met in the middle in 2008 when they both moved into the same condo complex. Chantel was on the third floor and Jason on the second. Chantel got a beagle puppy named Bennie shortly after moving in, and in order to get to know her, Jason got himself a canine buddy too. They soon began "running into each other" outside while walking their dogs. They would spend hours talking outside together, even in the crazy winter weather! Eventually they starting dating and in April of 2009, Jason officially asked Chantel to be his girlfriend. In 2012 they bought a house together and moved to Airdrie. In 2013 they got a second furbaby (Oakley) and in 2014 they got a third (Gunner).  On September 1, 2014 Jason arranged for a helicopter to take them up to the top of a mountain in BC overlooking Rose Valley Reservoir where he got down on one knee and proposed! She cried, and cried...and cried some more before exclaiming "of course!"
