Catching up, and already craving tacos. Taco Tuesday always makes me hungry. FMIL is in town so we're getting dinner with her... need to find out if she likes tacos...

Alyssa- A cruise sounds so much more relaxing! You don’t want to go to Europe and have to take a vacation from your vacation when you get back. Glad it worked out!

I am thinking some tacos for lunch! I am making carne guisada for dinner though so we'll see..

On another note, I have had cramps for a couple of days now and I wanna just stay in bed. My boobs have been hurting too. FH is really hoping for a pregnancy but I really just think it's my body getting back to normal after getting off birth control. I really just don't wanna be at work today!!

Alyssa- My FH doesn't drink either but i think i'm going to get the drink package on my cruise too, i don't know yet.

I wish I had some tacos but i'm trying really hard on my diet, since I feel like I loose all control over the weekend.

On a different note, I just received an e-mail stating that our invitations and RSVP's just shipped and will be here on the 21st. I know it is really early to order but Vistaprint was having that 50% off sale so I had to take the opportunity! When they come in I will post a pic, i'm so excited for them!

Kristen, I ordered my STDs from vistaprint because of the sale right now, too. Mine are also getting here on the 21st. I can't wait to get them!

@BeachyLauren I can't not believe that someone would say something so incredibly disgusting. Like your FH said- that is so ugly. He sounds like a great guy for sticking up for you that way. I would not have known what to say.

Kathryn, Its like a meat in a gravy. Best way to explain it lol. It's pretty good, I usually just make it with Mexican rice and homemade tortillas.

I got my first "big girl" job, with benefits. I've been in restaurant industry my whole life and took a bunch of time off to raise my daughter but back to work I go because well, weddings cost money. I'm excited and nervous about the time away from my baby.

Also- I am on a standstill from wedding planning. I want to plan but started a year ago so everything is basically covered other than the small things & it's too early for all that jazz. Oh well.

@Mac: hope it continues to go well. @Kiwi: hope you feel better!

BeachyLauren- I am in the exact same boat as you! FH's father lets his wife run him. Right now, FH and FFIL do not have a relationship but she does not allow it. I feel bad, FH hasn't talked to him in about a year. I have come to the conclusion though that we will still invite them and be the bigger person in this situation. I don't even think FFil and gf know we are engaged which is sad.

Chantel - I am so excited for you!! Absolutely cannot wait for your BAM!

@Beachy Yeah, she was projecting her own insecurities onto you. The only people I know that get caught up on other people's looks are seriously small, insecure people on their own. Doesn't make her any less of a cuntwaffle though.

@Matt I wrote a long reply to that cake thread and then deleted it because I KNEW she was going to hide it, she was so defensive in her replies. In other news, I am craving a giant slice of cake this morning.

@Alyssa I think I would have cancelled too...you really have to feel up to a big city trip. Pina Coladas sounds much better. I did a big England/Scotland/Wales trip years ago and it was one of the best trips but I've never been more exhausted...not a second of relaxation, especially knowing it might be the last time I was in that particular place.

AlyssaW, I totally support your decision! Our HM cruise was the perfect mix of adventure/sight-seeing and relaxation. Also, the champagne on NCL is amazing! On our most recent trip to Lebanon and Jordan, we were exhausted when we came home because we were on the move literally 24/7.
