I had a "girls night out" with my coworker and some of her friends last night...slightly hungover today. I may have drank too much wine. But the restaurant had these amazing brick oven pizzas...SO GOOD.

My godfather is in hospital. He scraped his knee where he had surgery last year and within 12 hours a massive infection set in. He had emergency surgery last night to remove the plate and will have a new one put in next week. I'm stressed because I'm too far away to do anything besides send flowers to my godmother and him

I just checked the lunch menu at work and its macaroni and cheese balls... I may have to partake.

My talk-o today is my dress. Had my second fitting last night. My alterations are giving me anxiety because of how expensive they are going to be. She had to put bust darts in and take in the sides. She had already lifted the shoulders. We haven't even started on the hem yet and that's probably going to be another $200. HALP. Well at least I love the dress

Leanne - I'm sorry to hear about your godfather, I hope everything goes well.

I wish I was eating tacos, tonight. But I'm to at least have groceries to cook this week, we've been gone so much on the weekends, I miss my window to shop and then we end up eating crap for the week. Not this time! FH's bachelor party is this weekend, and I'm dreaming up all the binge Netflix and food and wine I plan to do.

We sent our invites out a tad bit early cause FH got impatient. People started getting them yesterday and someone is already asking if they can bring someone else instead of the invited.

Holy crap! My first fitting is tomorrow.

Lauren- Where are you getting this done? I wish I had talked to you before, my seamstress does amazing work and is very reasonable priced over chain stores. She also travels to you. She even came to my room the morning of to steam my dress so it was perfect.

LaurenET - So pretty!! I know I've seen your dress before, but it's gorgeous every time. It'll be perfect in the end.

@Lauren- the dress is beautiful!! Good luck with the alterations though- my hem cost me smething absurd like 360$. I was sad. But it's done.

I had to ride the motorcycle to work today- which is ultimately nice because I don't ride enough- but fuck- it takes so long to get out the door- finally got here- and my fucking pointe pants barely fit. FUCKKKK to many cookies this week apparently. Needs more cardio. less food. getting older sucks.

no one appears to be at the office- which is fucking weird- but at least it's super quite- which is great. Because I really don't want to deal with anyone.

@LMac I'm in CT. I've looked at quite a few different places for it and haven't been able to find it yet. DH has some friends in Florida so I'm about ready to ask them to ship us some haha. I hate the heat, but sometimes I think I could really live in Florida!

@LaurenET, that dress is gorgeous on you. That looks like Alfred Angelo in Manchester? Their alterations costs are really high. My MOH bought her wedding dress there too and they charged her like $600 for pretty basic stuff. However, your dress is rather intricate so it would make me feel better knowing that the seamstress has worked with their dresses before, but they definitely overcharge

Kathryn - it's Alfred Angelo. Like Kaylie just said, I felt more comfortable knowing they've worked with my dress before, and if they screwed something up they would replace the dress. I have room in my budget but damn it's hard to spend money like that on yourself! What is the name of your seamstress? My mom still has to get her dress altered and she lives up near you!

Beachy - she sounds like an asshole. Eff her, I bet you look absolutely stunning in your e-pics!
